Wicked weather that came through the area, hoping everyone came out of it unscathed. Personally, I'd put out bait stations around the structures and perimeter of the immediate grounds. Being an exterminator for 44 years, I've found that exclusion, and baiting worked the best. Sticky boards work best when warmer climates, buckets work best when there's major infestation, and I've not seen a urine product that repelled them yet. Get some TomCats from the big box store, and place them. Love ya'll ❤️

Hope you have better luck than we did with the bucket trap. So far not one mouse or rat, YES! I said RAT, has even gone up the ramp! A couple blocks away, there was a rat infestation…. And now the neighborhood has not only the tiny field mice, but now we have larger house rats! So far I have only seen a couple rats in the storage/feed shed by the chicken coop. My husband tried Mountain Lion urine to keep the neighbor’s cat from spraying the exhaust pipes on his Harley!

John, you should think about getting an instahot waterheater for the second bathroom with as far away from the water heater as it is. Im not a big fan of them, but it should help conserve some of your water that would get flushed waiting for it to get warm. Migh think about using one in the kitchen too.

Tip. They sell small metal plates to go on the studs so that you can't drive a screw or nail into your plumbing. 😊 looking good guys 😊

Aslo, you might want to think about Dropping electrical and a cold water line down into the storm shelter. I know its only meant to be a short term thing, but being prepared is best. You could do 1 overhead light socket and one outlet on the electric, and just a simple spigot at the end of the waterline. This way you save your batteries and your bottled water if your down there for a few hours.
