Had our moments. Both of Newcastle’s goals looked good, but from a defensive point of view we were far too slow to close them down. You can’t allow players an age to get a shot away. Barnes just ghosted past Doherty who in my opinion should have done more to impact his run, as Joao Gomes was not close enough to Doherty after Barnes shifted past him.

Over the 90 we didn't play badly, but we seem to have lost that killer touch that we thought we'd rediscovered last season. That said, Pope made a couple of killer saves. I don't recall seeing Hwang touch the ball after he came on. Good display from Andre. I just hope the team's morale will hold up and we can find our scoring boots.

Consistently selling your best players every year without replacing with at least as good quality is only going to have one outcome a slow deterioration towards relegation we have now not won for a long time I have to say I'm not seeing much if any improvement

As a Newcastle fan you actually played well today we played shocking, it was a disgrace to watch us play like that knowing how we can play , we haven’t played well this season , your team will come good , just had a string of bad luck and your next few games will not help especially if you loose the first 8/10 games it will have you rock bottom, when you come to Newcastle and we are firing on all cylinders the game will be drastically different especially for you to be at st James park , heads up lads you did play well and deserved to win today

Some ridiculous comments. Can't believe we gave O'Neil a new contract unbelievable. Wolves supporter's seemed happy about it? We've won one game in the last fourteen Luton who were already relegated. Six out of seven lost at home. 🤷 I just can't see us getting much out of the next five games I'm afraid. Our form has relegation written all over it. We are in a lot of trouble.

Great comment. 7-8 times while up a goal they're in the attacking third and somehow manage to pass the ball all the way back to Johnstone, who then launches a low percentage long ball to a Newcastle defender. Too much negative football.

Honest personal opinion. If we finish game 10 and we haven't won a single game, then that's when we have to start to worry. At the moment its a new formation with new players but the same owners. GON is clearly good at man management so I doubt it will turn into the toxic environment it became before. The only thing we can do is head to the games to support

Before the season commenced I forecasted Wolves to get 2 points from their first 5 games. To be honest I was far too optimistic , 1 win and against Luton in 14 premier league matches is an appalling return and it is time for O Neil to go. I for one am sick and tired of excuses from Hobbs and O Neil and as for Shi, he is about useful as Starmer.

Over the last few years, Wolves at home has always been a tricky fixture for us, and as a Newcastle fan I’m obviously happy win the result, but you’s always posed a threat in this game, and I thought before kick off this was gonna be a close one… Apart from that Chelsea pumping, Wolves have shown they can be tough opponents for most teams, I have to think you should be more than okay this season?

I wish Gary would go to 3 CB's and RAN and NS as wing backs. Wolves play much better with a 5 and look shaky with a flat back 4. We need points on the board and not get drawn into a relegation fight, even this early in the season.

This aint Gon’s fault. We are buying players who have no track record of playing at this level. We can’t even string 3 passes. Joao Gomes can tackle but he can’t attack or pass more than 5 yards. We are very leggy. Cunha is isolated and doesn’t have anyone on his wavelength. We never have clear chances, they are always maybe chances… their 2 goals are shots that we NEVER have because we don’t get on those areas!
