Great mitigation by the club and proportionate and sober reply from cunha no doubt helped this muted punishment from the FA. Low match ban for the team but high fine for the individual ...a measured decision by the FA.

Wow This is great news I thought it was going to be around 6-7 games because kudus had similar issue and he got a 5 game ban So this means that Cunha will miss just one EPL match against Nottingham forest and coupled with the fact that he's injured also a good coincidence After the bristol game, which is not as important as the premier league Cunha will be 100% back against Newcastle 💪💪

For the Bristol game, i was expecting alot of rotation anyway (including cunha) to rest and try out other players. So effectively I see this as a one match ban.
