In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 These materials are also available via channel membership on KZbin: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

I would like to defend the Gazelle S. Been driving one daily in the city for a year. We take the bigger kid to school in the front with the smaller one in the upper seat. The weight limit is 50lbs. My 4 yr old still fits. It has a huge basket which swallows up the weekly groceries. It takes the additional weight no prob. The seats have a true recline not a tilt. The kids have slept many hours in the recline position. It has been folded and tossed in the trunk many times. We strap skis to the wheels and use it in the winter. We got a universal tandem rain cover, added some tabs, and use it in the rain. We are not gentle with it and it still works like new. Issues: Turning is hampered if the older kid leans forward and puts too much weight on the front. I would also like bigger front wheels for rough terrain use. For practical, city use, stroller with 2 kids, this has served us well. Also side by sides don't work in the city, they don't fit anywhere!

Had a rough day at work, but I come home, got baby in bed and can now relax to videos about prams. I don't mean this ironically, I find your videos fascinating and a great escape. I was unhappy with my Fox and upgraded to a Vista after watching your comparison between the two. Now I think I'll go find a Geo2 so I can keep comparing :D

Is there a stroller you recommend for 2 under 2? I will have a newborn next month, along with an 18 month old. I’ve been doing so much research & getting opinions on the Gazelle & Qool, but a lot of seats don’t accommodate kids for very long 😩 I’m over BabyJogger & their lack of accessories being in stock all the time.

I'm a nanny and that's what my nanny family has. The Uppababy Vista is the most common tandem in our neighborhood and the City Select is second most common tandem, but the City Mini is the most common overall double stroller.

Thank you very much for this video, It is really nice having the strollers directly compared this way (from the standalone reviews, I would have thought the gazelle would have been higher for example, even though the much smaller fold is still quite attractive I think...) How would you rank the baby jogger city select in here. Been debating between that, vista v2, and bugaboo donkey 3
@BarnevognverkstedNo3 жыл бұрын
A bit heavy and long, actually, so not at the top, unfortunately (even though it does have a few advantages). But what you should choose depends a lot on your own situation. If you are looking at a period of 2-child use over a year or so, then the Donkey will be best. :)

@@BarnevognverkstedNo thank you for your helpful video, was very insightful. We already have a Donkey - we have 2 under 2 children. What I personally find rather annoying in donkey is its small storage basket which tends to fold. Also for a premium brand they could’ve added some extra features they I’ve seen in other strollers....

Thank you so much for this video! Which tandem would you recommend for really tall toddlers? My 3 year old is 39.5" tall. So she's not comfortable in the strollers I have tried. I have the Bob but it really is too heavy and awkward for everyday use for me.

I really like your video, it's just that in person when trying these prams out, Uppa Baby Vista V2 was great except I was advised that you shouldn't use the handle bar to push it down because UppaBaby would class this as misuse. The foot bar is inside the basket and if you're not super long-legged, it's impossible to reach and manouver up and down a kerb, something super important in my area :-( So that's why #1 is not really #1 and we are trying to decide between Thule Sleek and Geo 2 now. I need to try the Geo 2 out properly.

Really interested in which doubles would work on public transport. Was eyeing up the Joolz because it's narrower than the UppaBaby. Hard to tell if Uppababy would be too wide. Thanks heaps for the video! I borrowed a Phil and Ted double but far out it's long! Takes up three and a half seat spaces!
@mazserenarockers98512 жыл бұрын
This is a consideration I'm going through at the moment, Vista is out for me because I was advised you shouldn't push down to go up a kerb as it can damage the frame and would be classed as "misuse" by Uppababy. The foot bar is inside the basket and is unfortunately too far for my short legs, so sadly will not suit. What did you end up going with?

Visually, it's the 2020 version, but we took the updates (which were not significant from a mechanical perspective) into account in our research and presentation of the model as a whole.

Hiya, have you a video of the mountain buggy duet v3? Debating this for my newborn and small 2 year old. I do a lot of walking so would appreciate any other recommendations you have that can fit through a door of 70cms x
@BarnevognverkstedNo3 жыл бұрын
We don't have any videos of the duet, unfortunately, but if what you're after is specifically a side-by-side model under 70 cm, I'm pretty sure that there's nothing else on the market. I recently had a Patron from Singapore with similar needs (there's a maximum width limit for city buses there), and I couldn't find anything else anyway (at least nothing decently built). :)
