Nice work in less than ideal conditions. Having both excavators and the haul truck really has made your work more efficient when you work by yourself. And I am looking forward to that 9 acre lake repair. That one looks really neat. Thanks for sharing, Chris.

I'd like to have a look at that brown truck parked there. Great to see old machinery still working. My daily driver is 28 years old and my lawnmower was rescued from the dump repaired and put back to work. It's over 20 years old

Key to progress, you first must start, then keep moving as steady as you can, do as much as you can, as often as you can you have that ditch looking nice and the burn pile is doing pretty good for as wet as it is.

When I worked in a log yard, we had a 30"x16' log with notches in it, so a Wagner log loader could pick it up. After it ground down to about half its diameter, the boss bought a scrap 16'foot H beam. I scraped up lots of bark with that beam. 🤘😎

Good haul for Mr. Donnie. Barney will make it thru the mud - just keep him in 6 wheel drive. Log squeegee always works better pulling not pushing. You must not have gotten any lighter stumps to keep your fire going. That 350 with 'root rake on a stick' really does load lots of brush & logs in a hurry. Oh good, another dam fix for the Pond Master.

Barney looks like a new truck until a few trips picking up some brush. Now he's a little dirty, but he still looks good. I would love to have one. No, I would love to have all of Chris's equipment and know how to operate them as good as Chris does, but I know none of that will come true and being 68 years I don't have the time nor money. So I'll just keep watching Chris work and enjoy every minute of it. Great, big thank you, Chris, for all the videos. I really enjoy your work. you're the best at what you do and what you touch. Try his job has really shown the efficacy of the 220’s thumb and the 350’s grapple looks good
@chuckpreston4981
@chuckpreston4981 Ай бұрын
The only problem that I can see with the grapple on the 350 is that it will never open up to the full 270 degrees that the combination of a bucket and thumb will. Don't get me wrong, it's a very powerful attachment with a lot of capabilities (along with being huge) and the design is very stout. I just wonder if the cost involved will justify it replacing the thumb in the long haul.

He showed it back when he drainthat area. They never got that far. Just dug ditches that ended up filled in with trees and brush. He had to dig the ditches back out and dig more. One humongous mess over several episodes way back in his library of episodes. He had one huge patch of bamboo I'd have logged and sold. Logging bamboo is easy and highly ought after if it's American drown. I hada friend who grew 5 acres and harvested it every 3 years. It grows like weeds in the right area. South Miami-Dade is the perfect sub-tropical climate. N.C. it would most likely take twice as long but still highly profitable.

Great job on hauling the brush,just curious do they make longer beds for haul trucks,I’m sure transporting the trucks to job sites would be little harder,but just think how much more you could move on big job sites. I remember that big haul truck you had on the ocean pond,but I’m just saying having normal truck with longer bed.you accomplished quite a bit for the conditions.great video.just keep doing your thing.😎😎😎👍👍👍
@LatitudeSky
@LatitudeSky Ай бұрын
Bigger beds mean a bigger truck because it has to be built assuming the truck will be loaded to the max with heavy stuff, not just brush. In other words, if they put a bigger bed on this truck, somebody would try to fill it with dirt and then the truck would not be able to move as well or at all.
