Part of the reason because Stallone can’t do this forever! He’s getting too old and wants to step away from movies! However he will continue with his show Tulsa king so Sylvester Stallone hasn’t completely gone away! Just from movies! So he’s passing the torch over the Jason statham! So the fourth film even though it was terrible it was kinda of good way to end the Barney Ross era of Sylvester Stallone!

I think what they fail to do is mention what happened to the young team, Doc, and a full explanation of where Galgo is, because I feel once word got out Barney was dead, they could’ve made a cameo at his funeral or told Christmas theyre in with him to help the team led by Marsh since this will most likely be the last film.

Also, Charisma Carpenter was way hoter than Megan Fox, so if anything Christmas took a step down in the girlfriend department.

I actually knew CGI in previous ones wasn't good as well (hell, my favorite EXP2 had the worst looking CGI out of 3), but to be honest this one was too much non good 😂 it really felt like PS3 game at times, and i don't even like usually saying that! So happy Barney Ross did NOT actually die. I was pissed through most of the movie. Though I love this franchise as a whole 3 is still my favorite. Mel Gibson is an excellent villian. Probably couldn't afford to bring Harrison Ford back on but man what a movie. Everybody was in it except for Willis.

Harrison Ford was busy with that crappy Indiana Jones sequel and so was Antonio banderas. Personally I would have loved to see Harrison Ford in this as the villain pulling the strings and revealed that Monroe from the first and stonebanks from the third were working for him secretly. But they waited too long to make the sequel. And it sucks that Antonio banderas, Wesley snipes, Harrison Ford, Mickey Rourke, terry crews, Arnold Schwarzenegger, jet li, and Jean Claude Van Damme weren’t in this film But at least Andy Garcia was in the franchise as the CIA contact who was revealed to be the villain. Everything else was crap. The CGI, the story, the new cast and that guy iko Uranus from the raid as the villain didn’t make much sense in this movie.
