On to the rifle range, it's one of my favorite pleasures. Just listen to those turkeys, gobble, gobble gobbles,..translates to " me too Farmer P, me too, I'll be a target for you!" ( just a silly little joke folks ) Actually Farmer P, you don"t go half way with your choice of rifles, do you; a Browning T Bolt in 17 HMR and a Remington 700 stainless steel fitted in 22-250 , both calibers are known for the flatter trajectory aren't they? I also own a T Bolt with walnut stock in .22 Magnum and a Tikka T3 in 22-250 as well,...super shooters for me. I don't hunt ( I can't due to medical reason ) and I don't shoot competitively except against myself, haha! Brandy brancourt Oh the round is more than capable of 300 m in perfect conditions and in the hands of a well practiced marksman. The point is, conditions are rarely perfect, and few of us are as good as we think we are. I would happily go 300 m with the 22.250 and further with a 100 gr+ round if there is no cover and needs must. In the UK there is normally plenty of cover to set up a hide or stalk the quarry... No need for a risky long shot. 🙂👍

A year on from this vid airing..... Here in USA you must register your "can" , silencer which is serial numbered, pay $200-400 fee, then wait months for federal background check. Then you receive yer permit. Because of Covid-19 and presidential election, the country has gone batso. No ammo in stores, with limit of 1 box per purchase per day when you do find it. And prices 40 - 70% higher😧👎🤣😷💉💉🇺🇲. Also making gun purchase very difficult due to 7-10,000,000 new gun owners . Crack-On ✌️

Just be careful uploading stuff like this, I noticed a few points. I've a fair collection of firearms myself, wouldn't want anything to come back against you. Always leave mod off in the cabinet allows cases and moisture to escape, friends have damaged they're crowns leaving them on. Will all leave them off mow

You know I know your chamber is empty but the marksmanship training and gun safety i took through air cadets makes me cringe with your barrel down range at all times policy and safety and bore check before going down range and suppressors are not legal in Canada it took me a second when you fired the 22-50 as im use to no muzzle break no suppressor or as you call it there a moderator it sounds like a little pea shooter compared to the volume im use to
@FarmerP4 жыл бұрын
Kraig Duncan Fair comment Kraig. When I took my DSC1 certificate, the barrel was always kept pointing down range, Henry witnessed me load a round for him and I explained the process. Yes, if you hand a weapon over you should show the receiver an empty chamber, even if it’s out of its slip. As we were shooting from a table top I loaded one round at a time to avoid any confusion for him and made sure the safety was enabled. Without the moderator that .22-250 has one hell of a crack, I recon it would terrify dogs half a mile away. 😬👍🙂
@Kraigthecanadian4 жыл бұрын
Farmer P yah its mainly the strict absolutely no if ands or butts gun safety that was drilled into me we both know it's rendered safe as soon as there is a empty or nothing down the chamber with safety on or if the bolt is open and clip removed Haha 😂 yah just a slight need for hearing protection or suffer having ringing ears when dad brought it out and everyone else was firing 22s gopher hunting its a little but of a heart stopper when the 22-250 goes of to your right side and you had no idea it was even pulled out of the safe

Ian you should not be letting anybody use your gun without a licence I know what as I Have a 308 Bullet gun 2.2 air rifle They need a firearm Certificate To use any gun That is over 12' pounds You could potentially get done For you letting them use your gun😡😡
@FarmerP4 жыл бұрын
Mark V8MAN Provided I the licence holder am supervising and never leave an unlicensed person in charge of a weapon I am not committing any offence. The ground is registered for up to .243 caliber Few folks will ever gain their FAC without ever firing one, provided it is done in a safe manner with clear instruction. No, I am not a qualified instructor, but I completed and passed my DSC1 certificate which included gun etiquette and safety. If I didn’t think Henry was capable of safe operation.... He would not have fired a shot. What is a 308 bullet gun 2.2 rifle?? I have never heard of that
