as my mother and her mother, were both romani, romany, im glad to see you chose a real Winnebago, as your logo, not a vardo as its often called, and caravans were a group of camels on a long journey, readings were the most luxurious, and maybe the term vardo could apply, Although ime stuck in london i was actually born in caversham redding, in those old days, if somebody died in one, it was burnt, so, like the old trains not many survived

The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway is alive and well - in 2019, we have five restored carriages, and a replica of LYN at Woody Bay, with two more locos being planned, plus a five-mile extension underway. lynton-rail.co.uk

Well i think it's such a shame this great route was closed, but i believe small parts of it have now been reopened, and maybe one day the whole route will once again be up and running.. Thanks for watching...

Well in parts the track has been re laid, and there is a small train doing about a mile stretch as far as i know, but am sure the track will get longer, and who knows maybe one day this line will once again be fully up and running.. Thanks for watching...

back in 2004 a friend of my Dad asked Nigel Bowman the owner of Lilian one of the LSR's Quarry Hunslet engines if i could have a footplate ride on his engine and he agreed to the request in fact I didn't just get a footplate ride on Lilian Mr Bowman also let me put a shovelful or two of steam coal on the fire as well before we departed New Mills. since then Lilian's apparance has changed a little as she now runs with a coal tender

looking back on my first try at stoking a steam loco's boiler I hope i placed it where Mr Bowman needed it i also most dropped a lump of coal on his foot as i missed the firehole on one of my first gos and it feel on the cab floor he wasn't cross about it and he just threw the lump of coal on the fire

thats one of the problems, when they go updating things, they dump a lot of what made it popular, thinking that the new stuff is better, windows is a prime example, its updated just for the hell of it but, it, isnt better, when i had XP i knew my way around it, and, it was more user friendly, now, i find that finding what bit ime looking for, is more trial and error, and a lot of it, is a mystery to me, i have, to ask, a youngster, to come and fix it for me, the only real improvements are CPUs and more RAM, but that, isnt down to windows, the old saying or if you prefer adage, was, if it aint broke, dont fix it

I don't think so, the sooner we get out of the European Union the better.. We joined in 1973 i believe, and our country has been losing its identity and going downhill ever since.. It may be hard at first, but i am sure it will all work out for the better in the long run.. In an ideal world all nations would be sitting around holding hands and singing "Kumbaya" but humans ain't like that, they are territorial and have different ideas of how to live, it's always been that way, and from looking at what's going on around the world at the moment i can't see things changing..
