@@BarnzyBowling hey Ryan Barnes I’ve been watching you for a long time. I’m proud of you man for your success. Thanks to your mom and dad‘s legacy. I have a birth defect and I just would love to meet your dad and you in person. I know you guys live in Texas, but I live in California. I don’t have a job for the long time because of my disability. I was wondering if you guys can please find me out to Texas to meet you and have a coaching lesson I’ve been wanting a storm ball but they’re too expensive. I was wondering if you guys can please either let me out to meet both you or send me a storm ball and have your dad sign it please let me know

@ there is no need for that. I’ve been watching them since I was a kid and I just wanted to have a coaching moment or assigned piece of equipment so please keep your opinions to yourself. You’re not Ryan Barnes or Chris Barnes.

Nice. I know it was frustrating, but it helps in understanding that, even with a ton of talent, the wrong ball is just the wrong ball sometimes. Still a great looking piece, for sure.. just wasn't the right time and place for it. Thanks for putting this out there.

This was actually a great video! I have the same struggles bowling with my Dad after his senior league and watching the way you tried different things and explained what was causing the ball to have different reactions was great. I have a similar style with a few less revs and I get caught in an in between zone a lot. It either hooks too much or not enough. Where would you find yourself being able to use this ball??

Glad you enjoyed it! On more oil for me, great ball but needs to be oil in front part of lane to make sense

I'm a 90s early 2000s bowler. Your dad was not my favorite but holy crap he made some waves. I do not bowl much these days but absolutely respect your dad and the chief Linda. 2 hands have taken over the game and I do not hate it. I am mad when in the 90s I tried throwing 1 handed like Mike Miller. Only if I put that control hand on top.. keep posting videos and growing the sport. Only selfish think I need as a fan.......no slowed down shots unless it's a badass messenger. Had to stop watching 220 avg KZbin because of it. To th Barney family, may many more titles come your way.

My father and I recently started bowling together, and we've never really done much of anything together such as this, so it's nice, wish he could hold me up like this tho 😅 we were both about the same at the start, using house balls, shooting 125-150, but now a couple months in, using our own gear, the gap in skill has increased massively, he's still shooting 125-160 if he's lucky, while I'm shooting 175-265. He's not watching KZbin videos like me tho, not as much anyway, and he's not really trying to change his release like I did, which is his problem. He still 1 hand 2 finger throws, and looks like a chicken every time, and the ball massively over hooks, and he can't seem to up his speed or get consistent moving far left. I can see his discouragement increase every time we go, idk what to do for him because he won't listen to me when I tell him he needs to start changing his form to a true 2 hand. Every time we go I wonder will this be the last time he comes? He's never been a quitter and he's stubborn like bull 😂 but idk how long he's going to keep this up, not really getting any better, while watching me already shooting close to perfect games. Does anyone have any suggestions he may actually listen to?
