Very nice Steve! Imagine how your Chubby Stove would be eating up your anthracite without a barometric draft control installed. A coal Stove Chubby reacts very nicely in concert with a draft control. This is a perfect visual example. I enjoyed watching how the chimney draft was constantly changing. Without a barometric draft control a coal stove would be impossible to control day to day or hour to hour. This video is a job well done. I will pass this link on to my Chubby Stove owner community! Shouldn't the manometer be reading on the negative side, to show its pulling draft?

I moved the hose to the higher port, which is often the positive pressure port to to make it easier to read. Please follow your coal stove manual and all state and local codes.

Can you place this anywhere on the cool stove like directly coming out of the stove and when not placed on the stove does the damper flip forward on the bottom

Hello, dumb question.. can it be locked on the closed position and covered with a cap when burning wood ?

Hello, when I burn wood - I remove the baro completely and replace it with a metal cap. If you leave it on, it gets covered in soot and changes the effectiveness because you have the weight of soot on one side of a balanced plate.

Thanks for reply, how does your coal stove burn wood ? Are you getting some efficiency? I have a hitzer 254. Which stove do you have? Unfortunately the hitzer only has controls at the bottom and I'm thinking the bottom draft is burning up wood faster than a top air control but I may be wrong.
