And in the modern day of pro wrestling, where kayfabe is dead and everybody cheers/boos who they please, creating genuine heel heat is super difficult, and that's what I respect about Baron. He makes it look so easy.

I feel you! There is something too "this again" to how he is booked... I liked the idea of the Corporate Corbin but the storyline with Strowman match like Kevin Owen's storyline with Strowman just felt super forced and obvious to get Strowman over... We got it Vince! You like big sweaty man! Also I really liked his work in NXT both the short and longer matches but him losing like 80% of the time on the main roster was awful!

The hate to Corporate Corbin is very just & fitting of a heel... Personally I just really liked his NXT work and prefer that over Corporate Corbin... But then again the booking of his NXT character was awful on the main roster

He was given tv time. Most wrestlers don't care how you use them just as long as they are being used. Nothing worse for these guys then being paid to not be on a tv. And the majority of wrestlers I've seen say they prefer being heels and getting boo'd. To them it's just a different kind of cheering. "You suck, you suck" to Kurt angle, was just "cha-ching$ cha-ching$"

I feel like i'm the only one who likes Baron as both a person and the character. He's one of the only genuine heels in the WWE and the way he works the crowd with his cocky. thinks he's better than he really is attitude is entertaining. He also has one of the best WWE themes and a badass finisher.

I thought it was a great step-up for him. I was kinda hoping it would lead him to a spot in PPV match where he either took the IC / USA title or it would get him a spot in a match leading up to one ( like a late-game royal rumble spot 29 or 30, or a ladder match spot for Money in the Bank later on in the year). But ehh... well.. I know that's just me spitting out ideas without taking the booking for every venue into account.. so don't take it too seriously

How he cut his hair is beyond me. He could have EASILY built up to it in a Hair v Streak match between him and Hawkins given he was going to cut it off anyways. Corbin cost him a win in early 2018 against a jobber. Vince screwed that one. Corbin loses his hair while Hawkins ends his losing streak...that storyline landed right in Vinces lap, right in front of his face and he blew it.
