You can tell Corbin is a genuinely good guy. He’s very smart and knows the business well in the technically short time he’s been in the industry compared to others. He knows how to be the perfect heel, he knows what’s best for the company and the long term even if it means him not going over and being the top guy.

I immediately thought of JBL when Baron Corbin was talking about re-building his momentum back to the main roster. JBL was a veteran that was kind of stuck in the mid-card but eventually he altered his gimmick and made his way to the top of the card and was a world champion. Baron has more charisma and he's been so giving as a performer/paid his dues. Hope it happens for him!

Baron is a very cool guy… *but* unfortunately, I don’t care what they do to/with his character… he’s never going to get over or click with the audience… I can’t figure out what it is… but he’s just never going to be over. One issue I think is he thinks he’s way better than he is. Like… NO… you’re not going to be in a program with Roman lol… the fact that he even thinks he is suitable for that… or with Cody… like you are being used to put over guys on NXT… the heavyweight title is no where in your future…
