Once upon a time a long time ago, I was a troubled "tough girl" going through a rough time. Somehow, this man heard about me and that I was a huge wrestling fan. He came all the way to my school in Prior Lake, MN (maybe 1983?) and got me called out of class just to give me a hug, some words of wisdom and an autographed picture of himself (I still have it). I'll never forget "The Claw" or the kindness he showed me that day. XOXO

Saw Hi ! The Baron a True Wrestling Legend. I watched another video today and a man reminded me of The Baron, I wondered how he was doing so I did a search and found this, awesome interview. The Baron use to scare the crap out of me when I was Kid back in the 70's watching WWF through a Baltimore station. Baron Von Raschke definitely deserves a spot in the Wrestling HOF. Thank You Baron for making my days growing up special watching pro wrestling.

I ran into the baron a number of years ago when he was working at the Minnesota Zoo. I saw him running a tour train ride around the zoo and went over and had a very brief chat with him. He was preoccupied with his job but he did seem like a nice guy and mentioned that he was still wrestling at that point.

Worker till the end. But that's how it was in those days. Wish it was more like that today. Most of the guys in the WWE Don't have the talent this guy had or at least are not able to showcase it because of all the overdoing it with scripting promos and having the same damn matches every week.

You can't get as good as Raschke in todays environment. WWE needs disposable bodies for their characters, but back then you had to be good and know wtf you were doing to stand a chance

Love how he stays in character, BVR was always such a likable character. I just hate how he’s being blackballed by out of the WWE Hall of Fame just for playing the gimmick character he was given.

Road Warrior Animal used to walk around painted up, I did not understand that and that dude and Hawk were my absolute favorites along with Flair.
