It's about what appears to be an old sad bloke in one of a chain of cafes (ABC) who is a critical thinker about crime which leads to actual or possible solutions and a middle aged female reporter (His protege, who discovered him as he was sitting in her usual seat in the cafe!) who is a budding critical thinker on crime and as they discuss cases they drop in and out of the reality or theory of the case, you have to listen to it all and piece it together but it's not too difficult!?!

Spoiler alert So was the son in conspiracy with Ashley and killed his dad? ( Didn't quite get it. English is my second language)
