@@kolinskiparadox frigates do, do well but I'm pretty sure due to size they just pack more anti air on cruisers especially in late ww2. I may be wrong though as I haven't done much research, I have almost no knowledge of what a frigate even is class wise

Frigates in ww2 were a British classification, the equivalent to an American destroyer escort. Frigates are just smaller destroyers, and less capable with their multi-roll capabilities, their main purpose was escort and anti-submarine though. Cruisers (more light cruisers than heavy) are more specialised to a specific task like convoy raiding/escort or anti-air, although it’s mostly near the end of the war when they started being specialised.

So not being nitpicky here, But when he start playing as the Iowa class battleship. All four only had a max caliber of 16 inch not 18’s. To my knowledge the only battleship to have 18 inch main battery would be the Japanese Yamato.

welllll, they weren't Hispanos, they were type 99 20mm cannons, which were the Japanese versions of the Oerlikon 20mm, they were still, however, 20mm cannons

I think the way the torp bombers work is that they drop where you ordered them to attack do if you want them to actually go into there run i think you have to order them to attack the water infront of your actual target.

To deal with AA guns send in your fighters first to destroy them and to use your real turrets click the ship waypoint behind the ship and the ship will turn around so you can use your rear guns

You shouldn’t have a fighter on the back of the Iowa and the catapult can’t launch something is having as heavy as a fighter. They can only launch a Light plane like a scout plane

based on a real story 9:00, the bismark was sailing on the seas, untill swordfishes spotted the bismark, every swordfish’s torpedo missed, exept for one it hit the rear rudder cuasing it to be sailing forward, afterwards the bismark was flamed with tons of shells from the Royal Navy Cruiser Dorstetshire, the bismark went to flames as it slowly sunk

The Bismarck class battleships where not that strong compared to Allied ships. The fear that the two sister ships (Bismarck and Tirpitz) generated was not a dry fear of sheer fire power, but the possibility of what the ship could do if it ever made it to the lightly guarded US to UK supply lines. It could have delayed the troop supply to the UK which would have left it as an easy target for Germany, maybe even winning the war. As far as the actual "power rating" the the Bismarck, it had a lot of weak points. Only 30 kph, slow turn time, 8 15in guns, thin armor, and way to few AA turrets.

@@asavita8745 it still was decently strong ship with the weaknesses because it had better range then most ships at the time except for aircraft carrier which always have been strong because of that and it took a ton of British ships to sink it

@@gravepheon1x500 Oh yes, it definitely was a strong ship, especially with German marksmanship in play, and I'm sure she would have been even more deadly if she had waited in port for her sister ship to be launched a few months later. However if you look at the battle plans from both sides, you'll see that Hitler sent the Bismarck on what basically was a suicide mission to delay the Brits, and to test the new battleship class for weakness.
