There are direct buses from Delhi to Bir. You can explore Bir and go to Barot valley from there by Taxi. It’s just 50km from Bir.

Road conditions are good, temperature is around 12 - 20 deg Celsius. In December to February one can experience Snowfall in barot valley.

You can rent a bike or scooty from mandi then go to barot and explore it. But to carry extra petrol with you because from mandi barot is almost 40 to 50 km and then you have to explore barot too so you need extra petrol and nearby barot there is no petrol station. Locals used to sell petrol in black but quality of it very bad. So do take care of it.

It depends on that stay you chose and number of person's going. Because yaha mostly expense traveling, hotels/camp stay and eatables main hi hoga. If you are going with Family then approx 15 to 20k or agar friends ke sath then divide this amount between numbers of person going.
