And at the end of the video we will take you on a hidden trek which most of you have never heard about.
So, on day 1 we started our journey from Shimla and as we hit the road, we leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city, venturing into the heart of the Himalayas and we reached our first destination that was Shilaroo where you will find the highest altitude hockey stadium in the world which is located in the perfect environment. Next, we ascend to the scenic town of Narkanda, renowned for its panoramic viewpoints and as we move forward we came across the beautiful forest of narkanda where the road goes through these forest which makes this roadtrip more beautiful and adventurous.Continuing our journey, we arrive at Rampur Bushahr, a cultural melting pot where history and tradition blend seamlessly. And in Rampur Bushahr there is a royal palace which is about 100 years old known as Padam Palace. This magnificent palace stands as a testament to the rich heritage and grandeur of the region, offering a glimpse into a bygone era. Built in traditional Himachali style, Padam Palace exudes an aura of timeless elegance and grace. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply seeking a glimpse of royal life, a visit to Padam Palace is sure to leave you enchanted.
On Day 2, we started our journey from Rampur Bushahr to Kalpa where we came across awe-inspiring rock tunnel, a marvel of engineering that winds its way through the rugged terrain, offering glimpses of sheer cliffs and cascading streams.Venturing further, we arrive at Taranda Dhank, a picturesque mountain pass that commands breathtaking views of the Kinnaur Valley below. Feel the adrenaline rush as we navigate through hairpin bends and steep cliffs, immersing ourselves in the raw beauty of the Himalayan landscape.As we approach Reckong Peo, the gateway to Kinnaur, we are greeted by the bustling streets and vibrant markets that characterize this lively town. Discover the rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality of the locals, as we explore ancient temples, bustling bazaars, and serene monasteries that dot the landscape.
On day 3, we started our morning with the most beautiful scenery of kalpa with the kalpa village in foreground and the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks in the background. In real it was such a magnificent view as it was looking like a heaven.
But before exploring Kalpa we went to explore an another beautiful village Roghi. Roghi is around 5 km from kalpa and in between Kalpa and roghi you would come across the rolla dhokang also known as Suicide point. Suicide Point offers breathtaking views of the valleys below, with sheer cliffs plunging into the gorge. Then comes the village Roghi, which is so beautiful yet unexplored. Roghi Village greets visitors with its serene ambiance and breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks and verdant valleys. As you wander through its winding lanes, you'll be greeted by traditional Himachali architecture, with quaint wooden houses adorned with intricate carvings. Discover the warmth and hospitality of the locals, whose smiles reflect the simplicity and sincerity of mountain life. And do visit the ancient temples that dot the landscape, each a sanctuary of peace and spiritual solace.
After exploring the roghi village we came back to Kalpa to explore this village. Kalpa is truly the most beautiful village of Himachal Pradesh. Here you can explore the ancient temples each a testament to Kalpa's rich cultural heritage and spiritual legacy. From the revered Narayan-Nagini Temple to the sacred Chandika Devi Temple, immerse yourself in the aura of divine grace and timeless devotion that permeates these sacred grounds.Engage with the warm-hearted people of Kalpa, whose hospitality and kindness embody the essence of Himalayan charm. As the day draws to a close, prepare to be spellbound by the breathtaking spectacle of a Kalpa sunset.
On day 4, we went on a hidden trek which starts from Kalpa and known as Chaka trek. This hidden gem promises breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences for every explorer. Join us on a journey through pristine forests, gurgling streams, and rugged terrain, as we traverse the scenic trails of Chaka. With its moderate difficulty level, this trek is perfect for both beginner adventurers and seasoned hikers alike.
