Forest caves are the worst imo Not only the bushes with gas giving you a hard time, but ice walls *also* can block your way there. So you have to cut the ice walls, while being inside of a branches, and the poison gas deleting your oxygen tanks in seconds ') That's a lot of stress

Easy tip: rewire all submarine lights to 255 in values to create a bright, white light to see a great amount of the sub

Ironic you should do a playthrough of you controlling a creature on a big ship [if you wanna know how to control monsters, heres how] 1. all of this in console; "enablecheats" , then do "spawn [creature] inside" 2. then type "control [creature] 0" if theres a pre existing version of that creature replace 0 with 1 or 2, etc. also i love ur vids, im new to this channel i've seen a lot of your vids and you are a really big help for someone who nearly forgot about barotrauma and cant understand the new features or remember the old ones

I know this might be a bit too much to ask for but I have subbed to your channel since it helped me (and still does) alot during my time in Barotrauma. But what I wanna ask is, if you can make a submarine guide? Which is the best for what situation and which one is an all-rounder. This type of stuff. Gun, hull, big, small...everything. I still have the Dugong and I dont really wanna switch since I put all my upgrades into it and ONLY if I have enought marks to upgrade my next sub to that level I had on my other. Long story short...me small brain for subs. You huge brain. May explain? Thank.

Can caves be completely empty? I'm a new player and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've visited 4 caves in the first biome so far (I think it's called Cold Caverns) and I found nothing inside. The only time a cave had some minerals was during a mining mission. Can caves spawn with minerals even outside of dedicated mining missions? Also, what do minerals look like on the mineral scanner?

Caves usually are not empty, however you might have to go deep inside to find resources. you may also have just gotten a really unlucky map seed.

@@IronicandDead Ever since I've installed the mineral scanner on the navigation terminal via an upgrade I can see minerals on sonar (even the portable one) and caves have begun spawning minerals with some consistency. Weird. Thanks for answering my question
