I love to keep a bottle of bear spray by my front door. They have very good fogging abilities, enabling you to be able to cover a very large area. If I have any type of intruder trying to break in or maybe up on my property making threats of some sort or even maybe trying to get into vehicles, it works great to just Crack your door slightly and give it a quick spray. It fills your yard with mace and drives away any threats quickly. My town also has a problem with people's catalytic converters being stolen for scrap metal being worth hundreds of dollars. Ẃ also have Wild hood that come onto the property and rip up trash cans. You can walk out to 20 hogs at times and mothers with babies will charge you before you even know they are there. You also get multiple uses out of it. Rather than self-defense, mace usually lasting one spray.

I was hiking with a group in Washington state on a zipline course. The guide warned us never to go into the woods without a can of that stuff, so I guess it works? We saw a bear but luckily it stayed away from us.

I carry bear spray all the time, it works on all animals. That's a great brand and a could value Most companies you have to buy the holster separately.

Doc, Bear Spray not only protects against Bears but it will also protect from Dogs, Cougars, and Humans. Mace Brand Bear spray is Good and it’s a Reputable brand. I would carry it if I’m camping, out hiking or out walking the dog. I’m actually in the market for Bear Spray Now. I’m either going to go with Mace, Counter Assault or UDAP.

overall i think this was a good box. the only thing in this box that i didnt like was the wallet, i think there are much better options for not a ton more money thay could have put in, and the knife wasnt the very best they could have chosen but still seemed like a decent edc option. the bear spray is a good item to have even if you dont live in an area where bears r an issue, because like the theme of the box, a TON of people go on vacation in the woods and other areas where bears could be a problem, its also a good self defense item. the grenade i thought was a complete fluff JUNK item until you brought up that it could be used for other things that need to be protected and at the ready, like ear buds or flash drives, i think that is an AWESOME idea for that item. and while i agree with you on holsters, i personally carry an alien gear hybrid kydex holster made for my specific firearm, belly band holsters like that one are an AWESOME option for certain scenarios. i cannot carry my holster if i am wearing something like gym shorts, or sweat pants or other clothing like that, where with a belly band holster you can use with ANY clothing. so while belly band holsters might not be the very best option in my opinion..... they still do serve a purpose, and are still a very good option to have. much love doc, hope you are felling better now that canada has let up on the biological warfare 🤣😂🤣😂

I had to laugh when the first thing was bear spray. I live in middle TN right outside of Nashville and we have a black bear walking around our city right now. The fish and game decided to “let him find his way out of town on his own”. People are buying bear spray though because the poor guy is hanging around houses.
