Gotta love me some moras. Imo, the companion and the companion hd give you the most bang for the buck of all knives. I have some high end knives and some in the middle segment, but in my old age, they stay at home almost all the time. If i go outdoors, it's either that companion or the hd. Or both, lol. They are so lightweight, you don't even feel them until you need them. The charme of morakniv, to me, is to have a very cheap knife, that can do everything that others with their high end knives can do. So for this philosophy, i'll never own a garberg or one of those ridiculously overpriced ach wood knives they sell.

that's a solid box. i think the Sacra would be my choice. And the pry tool is unobtrusive, unlike some others. Oh...and love the Mel Brooks reference...

I love the blade on both knives, I’m not a fan of denim micarta though, I’d switch the scales but box is amazing , Darrel has done it again, maybe he should buy battlebox so it can be done right, zippo, edc, knife club, then he could use battle box for other survival and camp items, he seems to care about his company more and definitely cares about his customers better, he could take down bespoke post sub box company!!!

i really enjoyed seeing this box, i had no doubts that Monthly Knife Club would put together a good box, and i am curious and excited to see how this box goes, also my favorite thing in the box would have to be the real steel, i really like Kubey, but the looks of the Kubey royal just doesnt do it for me honestly

Hey Guys - To clarify, it's essentially the same as the MKC Ultimate / Premium / Advanced plans for now. The EDC name is just more marketable for us. Also the Starter $35 EDC plan is available which is not available at MKC.

If I were to take a stab at it, I'd guess an EDC box won't include to many fixed blades or potentially keep them to ESSE Izula size.

We were using ww2 c-rations in Vietnam 1965. They were better than the B - ration. ALL of us had P38s and l still carry one from there. It feels good on the key ring 😊

this is a great utility....BUT...it needs to be longer for grip. I got big hands and a full grip it way too close to the blade. I threw it in my pile never to be used again. ain't gonna risk getting sliced up.
