Thank you for introducing me to TVP. I love the mission and am now an elite member. I retired from the military in 2013 but was no deployable by the time our unit deployed. I didn’t know the struggle personally but I fully support the men and women who do! Really wish I could have gotten in on the May t shirt but I’ve purchased 7 t shirts and a hoodie for my wife and myself last month! Thank you for Highlighting this amazing project ! Thank you for your service to our country and our fellow servicemen and women.

I was skeptical but I think it’s worth 8$ a month to see something different, great video doc, and the the beginning was comical , actually made my grumpy ass smile , ty

Smh 🤦 the things people waste money on, it was made in china im sure and everything from that guy is a sham and HUGE waste of money, imo.
@DocP91BКүн бұрын
Number 1 that's why it's called disposable income. Money you have that you can spend on complete non-necessities, because technically anything besides that is a waste of money. People. Collect all kinds of things. There are a LOT of patch collectors in the world. I challenge almost anyone you to say they don't spend $8 a month on things they don't actually need. Number 2 maybe. But China isn't known for having a thriving custom patch industry. South Korea, The Phillipines, and to a lesser extent Indonesia is. The cheap PRC patches I've seen come with various thing all look like. Cheap PRC patches. But maybe it is. Nunber 3 yeah his boxes are a letdown but what does that have to do with this? How would a patch be a "sham"? I understand judging a mechanical object, saying this company has a reputation for putting out poor workmanship, a knife by saying this company has a reputation for using cheap steel, but judging a patch made by a third party because the boxes he puts together are pretty lame? I gotta say this comment feel like there's a lot more behind the scenes, and a lot. More dislike for. The man and how he represents himself, than this patch or a patch subscription itself. Number 4 everyone is entitled to thier own opinion and I never expect anyone to like. Or dislike something just because I feel a certain way about it. Sorry you feel so strongly negatively about this one. I thought this would just be a little fun. Hopefully you'll like some of the new more practical stuff coming out in videos this month.

pretty cool patch, not a patch collector myself, but i like to see them, definitely worth $8 a month if you are into patch collecting

when some of my t-shirts wear out i am FOR SURE subscribing to TVP and getting some more of their shirts. great video Doc, and a truly awesome gesture of you to donate the revenue from the TVP unboxing "unbagging" back to TVP. even if i was not interested in the shirts i would watch these videos just for that reason.

Thanks for the information about having to use zippo fluid. I also tried eucalyptus oil with no luck. Basically, no kerosene "substitute" I have tried to use worked.

Hey Doc, this video reminded me that I had canceled my TVP subscription back in Nov due to physical ailment that I’m now basically recovered from. So i renewed and paid for the 12 month subscription.

There is really no bad items in that box. Other than the MSRP on the carabiner. $20 seems high, but I think it was Ti so there is that. Fun stuff right there

I still hate it, a knife shouldn’t look like a toy, it’s funny Joe camel is banned but we can make knives that will definitely look like a toy, and I love to say all knife owners secure their knives if they have children but this is america and we all know better, and if you need to make your knife look like a cartoon donut to get attention or have a conversation piece…… your knife collection must really suck lol so all you bougie knife people that paid money for donut knives, I’m laughing so hard at you, it’s great that knife companies can make you buy yet another knife just because they did something goofy , I’m not paying for a stupid pink paint job

I got a Trivisa Vela from my May standard knife only box. Similar to your but with a different blade style. I upgraded to Onyx and have received the June box. I won't spoil it but you can see close up of the knife in a short I created if anyone wants to see. Thanks for the review.

Hey doc, I know a lot of knife companies watch your channel and I have a question that you might be able to pass along to one of them if they don’t answer me themselves…. Why have I never seen just a duel blade victorinox style with flipper switch on each one or a trapper style with flipper switch, is there one and I just haven’t seen it yet???

The box is super cool no doubt, I used to subscribe to it for about 6 months or so, still use a steel tumbler cup I received in one box, every day. Thing is, life gets in the way of plans, and I don't find the time to build the projects that came with each box. Other boxes you can deploy the gear right away. Now please, don't get me wrong, I've kept everything and will enjoy it to no end when retired, assembling said gear while watching the many survival shows, and when I have a lot more time on my hands!, and will likely resubscribe ( it won't be that far off! hah! ). I just read some of the comments, again, It's a box for the true wilderness survival person, ( think native Indian stuff ), there's not going to be an edc cool wis-bang multitool / knife here or the latest greatest Glock / M-4 clone, part/accessory. It's about the very basic wilderness survival knowledge / techniques and basic gear. The books/ guides, are fantastic!!!. If Boy/Girl Scouts still do this sort of stuff ( earn badges for survival skills ) it would be great for a parent to provide this for them!, Sorry, I may be a dummy, do we still have Boy / Girl Scouts ?
