Good choice of bourbon for comparison. Its impressive that Four Roses has reached this dizzy height of success, almost everybody rates it near or at the top. Its affordable and findable so good for everybody!

So you both ended up picking Four Roses and GT Stagg as your number ones ... yet it seems like the GT Stagg is far pricier than the Four Roses. So what I get from this is that the Four Roses is the better value, considering that you both agree they are neck and neck in terms of overall review. I'd feel more like I was getting my money's worth with the Four Roses, then. Which is in fact my favorite bourbon anyway. Never had Stagg, tho ... Great episode!!!

Great video folks! Was able to get a George T Stagg for retail from the Total Wine release but it hasn't been delivered to the pick up store yet Dang!! Can't wait to try it and after watching this I think I will have to open a ECPB from the bunker to do a side by side maybe a Bookers too. Cheers and Merry Christmas

Great review guys...your reviews with jason are definitely my favorite ones. Wish I could find some different Four Rose's barrel strength offerings around here. Every one I come across is OESV and they are amazing but I would like a different math bill to compare them to.

OESV is really good, but u hope you can find some others as well. You can always try calling the distillery or your local rep, they can give you a list of who bought barrels around your area

Elijah craig barrel proof could have been 2nd place or may be 1st bcoz u guys are comparing a bottle which is almost gone . Its low level bottle with so much air which ruins this great whiskey with other bottles almost all full with full packed flavour . just my thoughts.
