Sami called the sound on this particular record "Apocalyptic" during a phone interview and thats the best single word descriptor of the sound here. I really hope that they release a fifth album one day.

I've seen these guys supporting Ensiferum and Finntroll in 2010, I just simply had to get this album, it's like my favorite elements of Opeth with a much needed hint of folk.

I gotta be honest, I learned about these guys from Sami Yli-Sirnio being a lead guitarist for my beloved Kreator. And I looked up projects of his like Waltari and Barren Earth. Both of which slay for different reasons :D

Is the voice from opeth? its the first time i heard the group and i find it very mature and solid. and some how i find it very familiar with opeth.

Different vocalist, but indeed does have a lot of Opeth influence. One of the many reasons why I love this band.

AlphaIncipient , later i will follow more about this group, i do find it with this characteristic "taste" of mature metal, not like so many other bands that i use to call " teen metal" that its all over the place and with rather "teenish", concepts, that seems like their lyrics and organization was a sketchbook of a teenager full with knifes poking eyes and tits.

studiograficomty I love it. The lyrics are very deep and progressive along with the music. I always hated immature lyrics even as a teenager so music like this was always refreshing.
