@@barbwireb7779 I wrote that comment 2 years ago. I now am lying beside my 6 month old baby girl, and there is nothing more precious and beautiful to me in this world. There is no such thing as false hope, and God loves his beloved children. It took me years to finally become pregnant, and in that time God taught me how to lean on Him, trust His goodness and His perfect timing. It wasn’t until I surrendered and truly accepted that it’s Gods plan for my life that I want, not my own that I finally became pregnant. To your point about why would I want to bring children into this world? Simply put, God commands that we go forth and multiply, and children are a precious gift from God. Nothing is out of His control, and my child serves a purpose in this world for Gods glory just as I do. Unless you mistakenly believe we are all just blobs of matter floating in space, you know we all fulfill a purpose on this Earth. Life is a beautiful thing and motherhood is an incredible calling, if God ordains it for you

This was such a blessing for me. Continuous tears have been flowing because you’ve touched on EVERY thing I’ve ever felt during this 17 year long wait. Still, something in me can’t let go of the hope. Last month, when I was really down, the LORD brought Isaiah 54 ( the entire chapter, because I was going through other things as well) to me in so many ways, for 3 consecutive days. It’s what I go to when I’m feeling down about my childless situation. I now say, “ I’m expecting to be expecting!” Thank you for yielding yourself to bless others with this inspiration! Hi, I remember when I was about a year into my infertility process I came across a blog that spoke about the barren women in the Bible. I felt the Lord speaking to me back then. I am glad that you recognized that God used this teaching to reach you in your process. I had my son after 3 years of process, treatments and all the ups and downs infertility brings. The last time i read the story of the woman from Shunam was before I was married. But the idea of a prophet's chamber has always been something that resonated with me and so when my husband and I bought a house we have viewed it as the Lord's house. We have had several families stay with us and missionaries and pastors. I didn't realize/remember until I watched this video that the story of the woman building a prophet's chamber was tied to a story of barreness and healing from God and a miracle child. Praying for this same joy and gift from God in our lives. Thank you for sharing.

Wow! Your story has so many elements of what I have experienced also. The Lord spoke to me about a child “para el año que viene” (for this time next year) and my son was born exactly a year later in the same month. I did a video about that in Spanish. I lost a twin pregnancy in February 2020. Although I cannot say I was promised twins, I believe God has confirmed 3 kids total for me. I’m 39 and am just about to have my first embryo transferred. I spoke about my Ivf process thus far in my most recent video. I’m sorry about your ectopic pregnancy and that that had caused. I believe that God is greater than any problem or obstacles we face. I’m thankful God led you to some of these videos. I’m still living part of my process. It has helped me a lot to connect with other women who have gone through something similar. I feel like I am at my breaking point this week as been so hard I been battling with infertility 5 years now and I keep on surrendering, I even told the lord please take the desire and the pain… I keep crying out to the lord to just remove this desire. Just an opinion here He said that to those women in the Bible. Yes, it’s a message for all women but those women gave birth to children who were needed for Jesus lineage as well as to bring about prophesy. There are many women of faith who have never conceived because that was also God’s will. I have realized that in continuing to assume God’s plan for me to have children I became more depressed the longer it didn’t happen and it became an idol. Instead I have thrown myself into ministries and asking God to give me peace and grace while I am learning his will for my life. No one ever talks about finding hope even if you are meant to be childless the rest of your life. I think that is important as well. It’s a beautiful thing to suffer in the Lord and watch God use that to bring others to him. I am very honored that God would choose me to suffer this for His glory!! I just wish that was talked about as well as talking about the beautiful stories of these women. Even if it’s not God’s will for you to have a child, it’s ok and is still beautiful.

Beautiful teaching, but I believe using "barrenness" and "infertility" interchangeably can be misleading. While one is the inability or lack of the capacity to produce a child, the other is the difficulty of conceiving a child. I believe there was really only one barren woman in the entire Bible, Michal, the first wife of King David 2 Sam.6:23

Amen, I got married in 2010, and like most couples we wanted to start a family. i found out I have pcos. I lost 2 angels due to miscarraiages, and in 2019 i found out i was pregant and in 202 before the lockdown my baby girl was born. And in 2024 i have to start everything over again to get another baby again. its so painful and lonely road to walk on.

Hi thank you for sharing so openly- it helped me to walk through the hardest times with close friends- my mother and my 2 sisters were a great support to me and a really close friend was going through treatments at the same time as I was. Also, there were so many nights and days of crying and sadness. It was really hard to get myself together some days. I knew God was with me. The only reason why you preach this is because God blessed you with a child. I am 43 soon to turn 44 and have had one miscarriage. I underwent a myomectomy and a year later my fibroids grew back. My heart is as empty as my womb but God does nothing. He won't heal me, he won't let me get pregnant and he won't kill me either. Every woman I know or am friends with has children. Even the ones that struggled did so for under a handful of years. Where is God? Where is He?!

Hello, thank you for your honesty. I would most likely have the same thoughts if I were in your situation. I am sorry for you loss and the length of time that you have waited. I would like to share a bit of my experience. When I prayed to ask God if I would really have children, I asked if it would be through my body. The Lord used a woman who didn’t know what I prayed about to tell me a pregnancy was coming. 2 years later I had my miscarriage and then my son. If God would not have brought a baby through my womb, I would have pursued adoption. I understand that is not for everyone, but I believe that is a path to motherhood. I hope that you are able to receive the blessing of motherhood through any means that God provides.

What promise I was not promised a baby not everyone is promised a baby if it is not meant to be it not ment to be. Rachel did die. verse 18 Rachel died while giving birth to the son. Before dying, she named the boy Benoni.[a] But Jacob called him Benjamin.[b]

Hi, I agree not everyone is promised a baby. Only God can turn “son of my pain” into “son of my right hand”. When I look at so many people in the Bible I don’t know how they made it though such difficult challenges and circumstances, but in all that God teaches us that he can turn pain into purpose.

Praying for my sister 🙏 God is faithful and His word is true. I know we don’t have a guarantee to have children, but I agree that we come and ask in the name of Jesus that you would be healed of whatever is blocking the blessing and conceive a healthy child in Jesus’ name! May we rejoice with you soon as your heart’s desire is fulfilled. For with God nothing shall be impossible.
