@@64chrom idk bruh but in the OG, his past didn't get much coverage. Palmer in OG screen time is less than 10 min. Rebirth is almost the exact same story, but without the willing suicide.

I enjoyed this version of the Dyne story well enough but I really missed Barret's comment afterwards that he also feels like he's not good enough for Marlene because he also has blood on his hands, but he keeps going for her sake. But other than that they did a good job for sure. Really liked the scene where Cloud hands Barret his gun.
