Yeah, but don’t get too used to it. The only reason the sales prices were disclosed is because Barrett Jackson posts their auction prices for the public. Notice that Collins never publicly discusses what he privately paid for his finds…

Agreed. It's part of the story. If richard makes it work for the selling process, dennis should too. What happens is, these guys come across SAPS. They want to fleece these people and not let it be known.

Yeah, I liked that too. It is nice when the the cars make a little or break even, but a lot of this is about marketing and prestige, even if they just defray the cost of restoring the car. Private deals are definitely Dennis' bread and butter.

She sounds like a very caring person. try to just think about what she would want you to do . I know she would want you to be able to carry on with out her. You see I know what you’re going through. I just lost my little Roscoe and every time I start to think about him I just cry . I’m like I will never forget him and I would never get another dog again but you know what fait has put another little dog in my life again and I just feel in love all over again. Loved the Trans Am! My first car was a 1980 Trans Am Indy Pace Car. Although the 301 turbo left a lot to be desired, the car had the WS6 package. I’ve never been in anything that handled curvy roads better.

I ordered a 1979 Trans Am with the Super T-10 4 speed transmission which got you the Pontiac engine, the WS6 package, no T-tops, radio delete, and the unusual option of hood Firebird decal delete. It was very rare to see a 1979 Trans Am without the hood decal. Just a great running and handling all around car. Girl friend at the time (wife late on) had it one night and got a ticket clocked at 93 mph. Never told me about it till years later.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I take a different view on what makes Coffee Walk great. It’s the stories, the barn finds, the hard work, sweat, thousands of miles driven, and busted knuckles of the supporting cast. A group of multi-millionaires sharing inside jokes in a mutual admiration society is great if that’s your thing, but the paycheck-to-paycheck guys are what MAKES the story.

Found my dads 10th anniversary 400/4 speed he lost almost 20 years ago right after he died back in 2020 abandoned behind a mechanic shop in my hometown of Memphis. Dennis is right they are sweet cars. Can’t wait to finish mine and do my cross country tour I have planned for it. Dave Hall is a class act as well! I'm with the late James Garner of Rockford Files TV series who didn't like Firebirds post 1976. The ones in that series were gorgeous body styles.

@@rem1762 That you are right, they always used Firebird Formulas dressed down to look like an "every mans" car that a P.I. could afford! The Formulas had better suspension as Garner was an experienced driver & perfected the J-turn {James turn}

I watched the last Barrett Jackson, I had no idea Steve was ill, just a wealth of knowledge, all prayers for him.
