How do collectors actually take care of these cars when they are not driven or run for long periods. What is the key to that?

Fantastic idea to store the parts and hay and parked the car in the field, but keep the junk inside

While you were talking about 350 1971? Chevelle a Maguiar's number 7 product was mentioned with regard to paint preservation. What Maguiar product were you referring to?

Hi, I have a 1979 Jeep CJ-5 with the markings “Cheetah” on the hood. Now I have seen a few of these but not many. Do you know what that marking means.

The claim Studebaker made about this car being the fastest production car was a false claim. A specially modified Avanti was clocked at 170mph. Production cars could not go that fast.

Good to see some guys who are doing what most of us would do if we hit a level of financial success. No reason for jealousy- they are doing what we would.

The 1969 Torino they mentioned isn't a Torino folks. That's a Ford Cobra by VIN and based off the Fairlane line. And yes you could get factory air on an R code all day long, had several.

It’s a shame 1970 Olds 442 Post Coupe 4 speed W30 are a forgotten memory in these Collections ! One of these cars ran 12.98 in F Pure Stock in Spring of 1970 at a NHRA meet !

I have a 69 Cougar with a 351w. Made it look like an eliminator replica, lucky enough to have won a few shows. Dennis said parts are hard to find, probably so for a 390 but West Coast Classic Cougars has been great to me while I was doing my restoration. Found everything I needed. Just wanted to share that, would love to see more old cougars restored. Especially if it’s a rare find like that S code.

Hello Dennis , I was watching your video this morning it was kind of neat to watch your part two video today .Wayne brought up a name of a gentleman I know here in Pennsylvania Brian Henderson, and his partner Joe Swezey . I met Joe at the convention center in Pittsburgh ,PA when they had a rare Camaro color (Burnished Brown)and I told him my father was painting a 67 Chevelle, a rare color which is one year only color that was Royal Plum. He ordered one new from “Chevy Heaven” in Ohio. (Still have dad’s original order sheet from his 67 )and was trying to find the right-Royal Plum color . Joe turned me onto a gentleman named Frank Arone in Indiana ,PA who was painting a 67 Camaro that identical color and was able to camera match the original paint so he sold us the paint for my dad Chevelle. I was only four or five years old when my dad sold the 67 car and I don’t remember the color so I begged him to paint this 67 this color and I am not disappointed.. I believe Frank Arone still does Brian and Joe’s painting of these COPO’s and Yenko’s that Brian and Joe restore. Just made a comment because that gentleman said 68 had rare colors but 67 also had one year only colors.

The 75 Power Wagon is a model W100 as the D series were rear wheel drive models and the W series are four wheel drive models.

Those shifter displays were quite the thing. I played with one at Vic Hubbard in Hayward Ca. and then bought a competion plus for my 66 vette. Now i wish i had that car still, and I'm pretty sure that shifter would be just as tight as it was when installed!! Quality Parts that lasted and made the manufactured stock parts feel like junk! Never could stand the rattling shifter in my 69 396, but never changed it, just sold it.( the car that is). Also Linda Vaughn might have influenced me in buying the products also 😍

If I remember correctly, Hurst 4speed shifter, $54.95. Hurst 3speed Mystery Shifter, $19.95. Back in the day 1964-65. They were expensive, but everybody had to have them.

Funny story to that sixty nine mach one, the red one on the last part of the video I actually met the old man at a car show in arvada, Colorado and he was telling me he was trying to get rid of the car because he wanted to retire and he told me a short story about the car The car never seen rain or snow and garage kept what I could also remember, he told me he had it in blocks..so the tires would never touch the ground. He told me if iwanted to buy the car and come take a look at it and I told him, well, I don't got that kind of money sir, but I think I know. A guy that might probably want to buy it from you. So I got all the information I couldn't get ahold of the guy that could possibly by the car from him so story short, I don't know what happened to the car if he ever sold it. Now that I'm looking this video, this is the actual car. The old man was trying to sell me.oh I forgot it was way before covid, so to give you. Maybe 2017 at least I know the car went to a good home. It's a museum piece honestly, if I would have bought the car, if I had the money, I wouldn't be driving that car. I would have it in a museum.
