When the mighty Barrington Levy released the equally mighty Black Roses track, he set afoot a debate which has raged ever since and has not abated to this day. Was the Black Roses referring to collie weeds or to ladies? Barrington himself has publicly stated that he was referring to a lady paramour of his. But many are not convinced. After all they argue, you do not say you have watered a lady except you are either being salacious or otherwise figurative. The debate continues even as Barrington smiles to the Bank for a job well done. Big up Barrington.
