@@bridge4 That's encouraging. Personally I really do hope to read the remainder of the saga,. However, I understand GRRM is getting older, has probably been under much pressure due to GOT (although much richer because of that too)... and he has created a world and story so complex, it must be incredibly time consuming and take an incredible amount of attention to complete/add to. I understand that whatever instalments we get, will take much time, and may not end up complete. Fingers crossed though. PS Muchly enjoying your vids on ASOIAF :) PPS it's me, D Edwards just FYI - changed over to my nickname :)

so few people say that he went out like a badass. im totally with you. 3 on 1 (even if they have daggers) would be so hard. he fought something like 6-10 people. totally insane. so badass

I think I'm in the same boat. I may have been in the whole "they screwed him" camp until i realized, no way. He went out with a song, a sweet steel song. Just as dany had asked of him right before the scene. And as he would've wished for :)) (only thing better would've been a jorah type moment. Dying defending his queen)

Bro the editing made this one!!! Barristan on the horse 😂😂😂, it really did help visualize the story tho. Man youd be perfect voice for a book on tape. If you did WoW when it comes out thats something id definitely donate or straight up pay for. Ever think about smthn like that? -Brian
@bridge45 жыл бұрын
In the editing program, using the horse from an arya sandor transparent image that I already made looked ok, since the visual window is just a small piece of the application. Once I finally watched it on full screen, I realized it looked ridiculous. But in too exhausted. Done something like 45+ hours in the last 3 days and have to do the same for the next three before I can take a day off. So I was just line "ah f**k it. I'm not spending the time to make a barristan on horse transparent image" lol And instead of the horse and him spinning horizontal 180s, they were doing vertical and front to back 180s, which gets to the same place (a horizontal 180) but looks nuts ... but I got a kick out of the way it looked so I kept it :))) As far as winds of winter, I've got one chapter coming out soon. Depending on when I release a secret project I'm working on with teflon TV and gray area :)) Right how targetting those for fri/sat But I can narrate the full audiobooks without getting into legal trouble :-/ also, i hate recording since I'm a mouth breather. Editing out all my gasps is the worst lol Thank you for the kind words tho, ser!

And btw even the simplistic visuals you throw go a LONG way. I'm the type where I always have to visualize the story (been picturing god as Dave from Wendys since 3rd grade lol) so even Barristans upside down horse runniing backwards was awesome.
@bridge45 жыл бұрын
@@alkalinemk1588 lmao at your visual kg god. That's funny. And I hear ya. I like to take the time to atleast use transparent images (I didnt take the time to make them if gold"loaks either) but I figured its not too important since my animation. Is cheesy anyway I'm like you tho. Visual learner. So when I work on projects that's almost always my goal. To try to make something that visually would help me (and fingers crossed, that'll resonate with other visual learners :))

As a swordsman, former Ranger (75th Regiment, 6 combat tours, and then 2 more running private security and bodyguarding AFTER i lost my eye to an IED and injured my back) I relate to Barristan quite a bit. I've studied HEMA, FMA, Emerson Boxing, American Arwology, Pencak Silat, and as a Jew (who, with my bag of Jew gold, I rule the world with my fellow Illuminati Lizard People Clone Robo-Space-Jews) .... I have, after losing my eye and suffering 8 severely herniated disks and a break in my neck and collar bone (Vehicle-Borne IED aka vbIED, a car crash with a bomb, killed two of my good friends next to me...fucked us up...anyway), I have done very well for myself. Ican't compete in boxing but IDPA, and HEMA I dominate really well. As I get older I get more experience and adapt. I even had to switch oy my left hand for awhile, apparently Jamie Lannister is borderline retarded as left-handed he should have developed the same skills as the legendary Qhorin Half-Hand! IMO The Half-Hand is one of the top-5 best fighters in the books or show, he is just a legend on a scale few have.... Barristan, I think, could have beaten The mountain if somehow tyrion could have used him, I also think he'd have beaten the Red Viper. TV Jorah and Jon combined I think could beat Barristan, barely. Barristan is = to Arthur Dayne or so close that he'd win 1.5/3 fights statistically.
@bridge43 жыл бұрын
just saw this in the "pending review" section. not sure why YT held it back, but its out there now. sorry to hear about your personal losses, stray strong ser! and im totally with you on barristan. there was an MTV interview awhile ago where George R.R. Martin confirmed what you said about dayne/barristan (he said it would be a "coinflip" unless Dayne weilded Dawn and Barristan had an ordinary sword, since that would give Dayne the advantage)

Quite the opposite.
