The construction issues aren't a good look for the club. Bottom line is we're a football club and not a construction company. That said. Someone at the club will have been given responsibility of ensuring the project was delivered and up to standard. This person/these people will have left the club as they failed to keep on top of it and then lied to the board to save their own face(S). A project manager should have been given responsibility and should've been liable for any delays.

I criticised yesterday as like lots of fans. I was angry and the situation is not a good one. However we can't implode and meltdown when something logistically outside the boundaries of the clubs control doesn't go our way. We have to be patient and supportive. Hopefully the club can reward the fans for being supportive in a difficult phase, by having a good transfer window and moving on Tav and Goldson, Matondo, Lawrence, Dowell and Davies. Do that and I fully forgive Bennet and co for this blunder over the stadium and the embarrassment it has brought. I am sure getting those wages off the wage books will help the stadiums cause.

I’m old enough to remember and indeed attended games at Ibrox in the early 80s when the stadium was being demolished and reconstructed. Copland road end first then the Broomloan then the Sandy Jardine. Rangers played every single game during that process albeit with reduced attendances. The current work is for a small part of the Copland why does this affect the rest of the stadium?

Been listening everyday since Tuesday from sunny Antalya. Absolutely scorchio! Enjoying as always but just as the excitement built from the Barron signing, I heard the news of the cantilever delay. An utter shambles! As you guys mentioned, EH was majorly delayed & over budget. The Stadium Sports Bar is taking an eternity. Walter’s statue was massively late. This board stumbles from one disaster to another. From the outset it seems their intentions are good & heart in the right place but actual expertise & business acumen for running a football club seems well off point. We seem to constantly be running on a tight budget, yet what money we do have we squander or mismanage. It’s majorly frustrating.

I can see demonstrations happening during the season agent the board personally. The standards coming from the board out of the club do not create a good look for the club. We look shambolic at the moment because of the board they are looking incompetent it reflects negatively on the club & it is the board that is the surse of many of the clubs problems. As far as I see, there is zero leadership at the club at board level. The situation with The Copland Road stand would never have happened under David Murray, the work would be well on the road to being completed. Buy this point in the days when David Murray was the owner. I dont feel happy about saying this, but the club needs North American ownership. In my view, we are struggling to complete for players of any real quality. Carlisle United has American ownship now surely we are a far better investment than a club playing in League Two in England you would think so. bottomline for me The board is extremely incompetent.

The club isn't going to be able to compensate the fans for the stadium move. They will have to shell out for murrayfield, which won't be cheap, especially since SRU know its rangers' only opinion on the table. The fans need to adapt and be positive. At least the board are investing into the stadium and trying to improve the fan experience in general. They're has been 20 odd years of minimal investment into the stadium. Delays and setbacks happen, it's life.

Scrimping around trying save a few pounds now only team in the league that can’t even use there own ground at start of season , also think we would got a marquee player in already to get fans excited already instead of a free agent after losing the league and cup again , and no news of getting rid of these injury prone duds by now to loyal to injury prone players gets you nothing

Not sure we, as fans, have the expertise to criticise. Delays happen. We just need to take a chill pill and wait until it is done. The “oh my God” stuff from Stevie is ill judged.

Even with these delays the club will still be paying less than they would if they used British materials.. it's simply a matter of cost

Stevie, don’t you worry about building delays at Ibrox. This matter is completely out of your control and your comments are unlikely to influence the board. Stick to the fitba lad.
