Barrowford, from our very limited visits, is a wonderful place. Loads of walking places from what I'm led to believe, and as your video shows, its so peaceful looking. A place to get away from the daily stresses, if only for a few hours.

Yes, there are some great walks from the village..it borders forest of Bowland which AONB.. we are lucky with our countryside in east Lancashire 🌳🥾

Ah, great..hope you do this walk, it's quite a nice loop..it has a strava link in the description..I have filmed alot of walks in this area of Barrowford and over the hill to Roughlee, Downham and Barley. Where abouts in Aus are you from..done quite abit of travelling in Aus 🦘

Loved it! Its so beautiful there and the scenery never disappoints. I cant be sure on video but at 1:00:03 it looks like there was a big chaga mushroom growing on a gray or white birch to the left of the path. It looks like a big black burl though chaga is a mushroom. Very expensive online and makes wonderful " chaga cocoa" . 😊

I use a Gopro hero 7 black.. I'm sure a 12 should be really good quality..I record my videos in 4k

A nice walk round Jon 👍. The number of times that I've walked near cows, I have never had to jump over a fence.....they were quite lively. Not sure what I'd have done in your situation.......probably in my younger days, I may have tried shouting at them and waving my arms to shoo them away. These days, I'd probably panic. Fortunately, you were agile enough to climb out of their way. That farm isn't as tidy as it used to be

Ripped my best jeans and got a nasty cut to my leg! Yes, I wasn't bothered about cows myself years ago, but after so many people have been killed by them, I'm very wary these days..I definitely didn't want to chance it! A man said to me they don't have as much human interaction these days a day that's why cows have trampled walkers.. they seemed to be one cow, which was the ring leader with me!😄
