It's funny. I had just been thinking after the previous episode that we don't know squat about Barry's childhood backstory and wham! here we get a double helping of exactly that. It's still more Hollywood than forensic psychopathology, but hey! it's a show, not a documentary. And a darn good one! Twists and turns are what's fun!
