Not a question he is one of baseballs greatest. However you feel about PEDs , he is still an all time player. We know where he got the power. But that swing/mechanics (and the speed he used to display) wasn’t something you can get from the pharmacy

As the story in Game of Shadows goes, Bonds got tired of all the adulation lesser players McGwire and Sosa were receiving, so he had a "hold my beer" moment, took the PED's like those guys were, and then easily surpassed their home run feats. And from there on out, he repeatedly obliterated the intentional walk record because nearly all pitchers thereafter refused to challenge him when first base was open and the lead was on the line. It's too bad PED use was so rampant in baseball, but it's kind of amusing to think a guy who already was one of the 20 greatest players of all time was able to reassert himself as the game's best, by a huge margin, when he evened the playing field for himself. The other guys one PED's were able to make themselves equally good all-around hitters as Bonds, but when Bonds joined them in the PED arms race, it was all over, and Barry was easily alone on top.

You all can hate on Bonds for doing roids as much as you want, but realize if your going to hate him for it your going to have to hate about 90% of the league then, all the way to today because they still do it currently. At the end of the day its their livelyhood, and if theres a great chance the guy throwing you the ball is on it, youll do it too. And if i was playing a game where if i produced i got payed hundreds of millions id be on roids myself just as you would. As long as there is big money in about any sport, PEDs will follow, lets not be naive. Lets just accept Bonds is easily top 10 hitter of all time, argueable the best.

Barry Bonds deserves to be in HOF!!! You can be the strongest person the world has ever seen but doesn’t mean you can swing a bat and hit a baseball. The two have nothing to do with one another! What Barry did was hand/eye coordination, skill, hard work, and discipline. It’s a crime against him and the game of baseball to not acknowledge what this man did!!!!

absolutely not😂😂😂😂right field was like 320 feet in the old yankee stadium. it was high and far but obviously dropping where it landed. 500 feet. MAYBE. probably less but i’ll give the benefit of the doubt. 600 on that would just be really unreasonable

I don’t care if someone eats steroids for breakfast every morning and washes it down with a steroid shake. I dont care if steroids come out of your nose when you sneeze. You have to have absolute god given ability to dominate a sport the way that this guy did. He’s the greatest of all time and it’s not particularly close. It’s an absolute travesty, perhaps the biggest in all of sports, that he’s not in the hall of fame.

Roids wouldn't guarantee another Barry Bonds. I don't know of any substance that can increase reflexes. If there is such a substance, fighter pilots and troops in combat would have it as a diet supplement. If Bonds had not been issued all of the intentional walks during his assault on Mr. Aaron's record his numbers would have been incredible.
