I am embarrassed to not know of Barry's brilliance before watching this today. WOW. What an XETRA-ordinary musician. And to conquer the opposition with these performances at THIS event? Holy Shit!!!!! I'm following him and will be at his next concerts. Breath taking piano playing. Thank you to however uploaded this.

I was in the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra with Barry Douglas in 1979 (he also plays clarinet.) Yes, he IS a nice person!
