For the ones who made those horrible comments about their tennis playing this was a “charity” event no trophies just a fantastic cause. You should be ashamed of yourselves. How many times have you ever donated your time to a cause and remember these were celebrities who make money doing what they do!!!!

Anyway, the Sheraton was simply jammed with tennis celebrities and celebrities who play tennis. Chris Evert Lloyd and Martina Navratilova were honorary chairwomen. Bud Collins emceed. Barry Gibb of the BeeGees, Pat Harrington ,Malcolm McDowell (the film Clockwork Orange ), Alan Thicke, Chrissie`s hubby John Lloyd, and tennis comers Lisa Bonder, Susan Mascarin, Marcella Mesker, Michelle Tores, Kathy Rinaldi and a bunch more, all turned out for the cause. januari 1986

@@laurapritchard1617 Yeah but according to Barry's haters he was very egotistical and cared only about himself! The man did not have a giant ego. He laughed at himself all the time. And he and his three brothers all contributed to charity as soon as they made it big and continued to help a lot of worthy causes mostly for diabetes research and disadvantaged children for the rest of their lives. I'm sure Barry is still helping when he can.
