Yes, Vova, this is Barry Harris at his most magical ! Giving this unique composition such beautiful life. There is a sly wink in this music, and it has such mysterious simplicity, the most profound timing/phrasing, I think . "Chasin the Bird" was the first Barry Harris LP I ever heard ! And each time I hear this Barry Harris track, it just gets better. Thank you, Anthony Tseng ! Surely this transcript is a literate addition to Barry Harris' lifetime of generous gifts to the world.
