I love this video for so many reasons. Barry takes these toffs to school with his communication, persuasive style, charisma and knowledge of an area that nobody on the questioning panel have a clue about. I know it didn't work out for the cause, but this is a great example of how to respond to questions under pressure and get an audience in the palm of your hand. Well done Bazza

I listen with rapture to the English gentlemen speaking beautiful English rationally, and respectfully discussing issues. Almost everything he said came true. He sold his club and they went down badly instead of the bright future he spoke of, although they are trying to make a comeback. The fans of West Ham complain about the atmosphere at the stadium. Rugby and the NFL have done deals with Tottenham and their new stadium, and I bet if they had listened to Barry 5 years ago, this place would be thriving now, rather than becoming so quickly forgotten. And yeah, that's Eddie's dad! lol

Well done Mr Hearn. A worthy performance. Explained in in a way even the Lords could understand although I don't believe any of these Lords really know enough about the game in general. No doubt about this stadiums planning and legacy has been a shambles. May people have become rich out of it too including the Management of West Ham. Sadly now in 2016 not a lot has changed since then and the tax payers have still footed the entire bill and Leyton Orient and still not ground sharing. It does make you wonder what the Lords committee actually achieve. In the end it was pressure from supports of others clubs like Charlton who finally, through the European system, forced the actual £numbers to be made public. Disgraceful all round by the LLDC. Why not have built a stadium like Man City's new home in the first friggin place deigned for West Ham & Orient to share! I guess that would have been too simple. Tax paying Londoners should have our names written on the walls as we paid for it. West Ham certainly didn't!

Its not really about orient running on the pitch its Hearn riding on our coat tails. Thousands of £ to put a business case together, years of negotiating, a down payment of £15m. A multi million £ partnership scheme with the Borough of Newham where both the OS and WHU grounds are situated and £2m rent & Hearn says oh we'll chuck in 500k a year and have some of that!
