i really admire him. he just seems so humble about what he does.

The tree with the one arm is hilarious. I like what he said about graff becoming just a memory that you keep.

Barry is beyond humble! He wanted this to be a group show & didn't like the fact that so much of his older work was there... but that's what a retrospective is... I'm glad he included so many other writer's/artist's work in this show. Besides being extremely talented, he's just such a decent human being! It's wild, he didn't even get into graffiti until the end of high-school, yet produced quite a bit of amazing work considering! I've never heard anyone speak ill of him. Gotta love Twist!

We need more artwork in our communities and digital environments for that matter "in competition with advertising," or to just allow the public space for art to flourish as well as encourage advertisers/businesses to contribute more to the aesthetics of where and how we live in different cultural contexts.

The moving installations remind me of that ride in Disney World "Carousel of Progress". It's a really depressing ride, but the characters (robots) in it remind me of the robots in this one. Graffiti is never boring or depressing though. I also like that jacket.

haha I like climbing rock walls too (we have 9 months of cold winters so its great to still be able to climb) ;) All I was saying was that I like watching artists work. I know it's not the same and I wouldn't say it was

I kinda like legal walls because you do get to see the artists working.
