it totally was. would have been crazy though if all of season 4(besides fuche's and no ho hank's confrontation) was a play written and directed by crazy Gene. after watching the show a 2nd time to prep for season 4, it would have made sense for him to say "fuck it" and just profit off everyone's lives and then end the show on a sinister hilarious note about hollywood. then to top everything off, just say this story was loosely based on a true story.
