There seems to be a lot of mixed feelings about the cgi, and I think what’s going on is that the way they’re using cgi has improved, but the cgi itself looks worse. When Barry is doing a slow motion run in cg at 1:51, there’s no shadowing of his feet when they hit the ground. Corridor crew did an analysis of future Barry vs past Barry in season 2, and the shadowing and lighting effects are really good, with the shadowing by his feet changing based on his flickering lightning. Now the lightning trails seems to be less erratic and follow more of a trail. The erratic lightning was probably because they had to go frame by frame for some of those, so smoothing it out saves time. While I think the cg itself looks much worse than what it once was, I think the fight scenes are more enjoyable to watch. So far this episode I’ve really liked the way they’ve got the camera moving through the scene, feels much more dynamic, and the fight choreography looking a lot better. Feels like the content has shifted to more ambitious power exchanges and less focus on trying to get it photo real, which I can get down with.

Then the episode is done and will be at the same level as it is now, or more likely worse. For some people, nothing is good, they find the problem in everything. But the series is still going on which means there are enough viewers and those who hate the series are watching it, so even they support it.

I don't think anyone has noticed, but in the earlier seasons, Barry's lightning was more red ish. Now, its getting lighter. And if I'm correct, yellow lightning means your getting faster. This is actually kinda cool.

When he got struck by the Godspeed clones back in season 7, the SGI made sense for the scene but for me, the SGI on that part compared to what the SGI was on this episode looked like crap- in- comparison. Although. I have to admit, I love how the show puts so much effort into everything and I understand that when you're on a time crunch, you can't do everything you want. So, on my behalf on my opinion on the Armageddon Crossover, I just want to congratulate the CW for doing such an amazing job at creating the best crossover ever produced on the CW!!! (: (: (:
