Truly a master. Very few entertainers possess the same skills Barry White possessed. This man was an arranger, producer, composer, musician, songwriter and entertainer. All of that without one lick of formal training. His music was nothing short of masterpieces. This man composed music that accomplished composers usually write. His talent was very much underappreciated. The intricacies of his arrangements are way over the top. He is the only singer whose music stands on its own. Before Barry White you didn't see any soul singer being backed by a 60 piece orchestra. He was never really recognized as the true superstar he was. There are plenty of stars but only a handful of superstars. Here it is 50 years since his first hit record in 1973 and it sounds like it was recorded yesterday. His music is so intricate that you can't tell when it was recorded. Most music you can listen to and tell what era it came from. His music is timeless. I listen to his music everyday just like I did 50 years ago. My kids didn't even know the music was that old. Rest in peace sir, you will never be forgotten and your music will still be playing long after we're gone.

About 6months before Barry White died I had been playing his Love Theme album, all day, every day, even at work with headphones because his music was so lovely it made me work better. Then the day he died all day, the sky was just overflowing with big fluffy white clouds. I just notice things out the ordinary and looked in the sky and said, The Maestro is in heaven. And in my mind I could just picture him, orchestrating a band for God. That's just how highly I felt about him. I use to say most of those love songs he probably wrote about Glodean, and how blessed she was for that. This was an excellent documentary about him. Thank you. ❤Barry White

@@ladywhisper7735 I'm Sorry for this extra long comment and strays away from the main point eventually, But your got me Triggered. You do know, that Making love and F****ing are 2 different things. That's a byproduct of generations of Shacking up, creeping, Girlfriend/ Boyfriend relationships that are confused as or Equated to Marriage. It was looked down upon from Baby Boomers on Back. In the past some people did engage in such activities Outside of marriage but, it was either a part of a Religious Practice or among theUpper-class. IT WASN'T A THING, among the poor because, they were too busy trying to survive. Back then a woman couldn't be like Amber Rose or the Like. If they were, they would be ostracized from the community at Large, or shamed by them until they Died( that'sif theyweren't killed). Before the Modern Era women's well-being and LIFE were dependent on having a Man. This feminist B.S. is Making a whole generation of Females not fit to be Married. As they say among REAL Men:" SHE'S FOR THE STREETS". While Tramps will tell the women, it's OK to express yourselves and be independent of a Husband. Funny, women think that being like men and value respect over ❤️ is attractive to a REAL Man, that THEY WANT to get with. Men are bred to take care of Women, not the other way around. Women are bred to have babies, look after the Household and the parties that live there. They should only work if they have too or something that they ❤️ that brings meaning to their lives. Working just for independence sake is STUPID and dangerous for a woman's well-being as far as in mental & Physical health and overall Sense of PEACE as an individual. Not to mention, the gradual eroding of the relationships between the husband & or children. Especially, when they define their Value based on their ability to compete with Men in Scholastic or Work endeavors. So when a woman brings up her education or her career or her successful business 1st with a man, she's already telling him that that she's going to be a TERRIBLE wife. Only women that embrace their Femininity 1st are an ASSET to a Man. Why be attached to a dude without a 🍆 ? If most man need to marry a Butch women, they might as well be Gay because, they'll be f'd either way.

To Elizabeth Kelly, you're right. To those who remember he started coming out with hits since the early 70's I should know because I grew up in that era, and I would buy all of his music in vinyl records 33' 1/3, 45 rpm, 8 tracks and then cassettes for those of you who remembered back in the days, and he also founded the Love Unlimited, with one of my favorite songs Walking in the rain with the one I love! The Love Unlimited Orchestra! And my favorite song of his which I still listen to it in 2020, I've Got So Much To Give and also Let The Music Play. Which brings me back to a lot of good memories, and someone very special in my live back then, that up this day I still think about her! I'm a hopeless romantic and I miss those days, the people, the music, back then there were romantic songs sang by the late Mr. Barry White and other artist, telling a woman how a man felt about her, needed her, loved her, miss her, thought about her! You hear that nowdays and that's a shame! Let the music play on forever in my ❤️ to all the beautiful ladies out there! Ciao, Frank and to that special lady that I haven't seen in years but she's in my thoughts forever!
