His story was a great inspiration. He tired of the gang life and the bad neighborhood he was in. He walked fourteen miles to l.a. with barely a dollar to his name. He was amazed at how nice people were to him and the absence of crime. He got a job as a custodian and by dint of hard work and talent he made a success of his life. Could not read a note but was able to produce some beautiful music the stuff of Hollywood movies. R.I.P. maestro.
