I genuinely broke into the biggest grin the first time I saw his Foxtrot. He just radiates pure joy! He may not have won the mirrorball but he won a lot of hearts. Glad he went out with a bang! My faves: Salsa Dance Off, Paso Doble, Foxtrot, and Cha-Cha-Cha.

My favourite is his paso doble !! 😍 I also loved his dance off salsa ! They are my favourite DWTS couple. Too bad they got eliminated so soon. 🥺

I grew up in a horror-fest that was supposed to be a family. Won't go into details, but all I can say is I cannot express how much that show meant to me (and some of my siblings). I remember being in my first grade class one Friday and feeling so happy. Was it because it was the beginning of the weekend? No. A thousand times, no. In fact, school was a refuge for me. But I was so happy, knowing the 'Brady Bunch' would be on that night. The only sad thing about it was, it was only a half hour. And we would have to wait another week for another wonderful half-hour. I was the youngest in my family and identified with Bobby and Cindy (had a huge crush on 'Bobby'-Mike Lookinland, lol). My older sister identified with Marcia (Maureen McCormick) and had a huge crush on Greg (Barry Williams). And my older brother had a crush on Marcia. There was something magical about that show: A nice family (something we would have never even known could be possible, or existed, if it weren't for 'The Brady Bunch'); a nice house, good food, parents who loved their children and set boundaries for them, and siblings who got along, for the most part. No mental, physical, or emotional abuse or humiliation; no filthy house, no hunger, no shame. Was it corny? Sometimes. Was it shallow, with no real depth? Perhaps. But how much depth, honestly, can a half-hour show convey? In the end, there's no getting around this: To millions of people who grew up with the show (people of All ages), the Brady Bunch held something special; something very special. A very appealing cast with problems that kids can relate to with a backdrop of a life where they didn't have to worry about where their next meal would come from and where the kids didn't have to worry what type of horrible abuse awaited them next. The Brady Bunch holds a special place in many peoples' hearts. The only bad part was it was only a half hour. When it was over, I'd be a very sad 6-year-old, because I knew we'd have to wait another week for another half hour of escape. The Partridge Family never even came close to what the Bradys meant to me. Any other family-type show paled in comparison to the Brady Bunch. They weren't even in the same stratosphere. There was no other show that could transport abused kids to a little bit of familial heaven like that show could. And yes, I truly wanted Greg (Barry) as *my* big brother, very much so. And a few years later, yes!, when the TV stations started airing 'The Brady Bunch' in the summer and for after school, what a wonderful gift! I remember being so happy we could see The Brady Bunch every day, then. And I was an older kid by then, around 11 or 12 years of age. That was wonderful. It sounds corny, but I cannot express what that show meant to me. Thank you to all the Brady "kids" and Sherwood Schwartz and everyone who was involved with the making of that show. And yes, I have copies of Barry's book 'Growing up Brady' and Sherwood and Lloyd's book 'Brady, Brady, Brady'. And all of the DVDs, of course. Some favorite episodes were when Bobby was Safety Monitor (which was also, coincidentally, the one where Barry Williams tripped over that darn bike pump in his stoned state, lol, that we all found out about when he wrote his book). I loved anything with Bobby or Cindy as the focus. And yes, later I realized how incredibly handsome Barry was, when I was older. I also liked the episode where Bobby and Cindy tried to break the see-saw record. I loved the Hawaii episodes, particularly the Tiki Curse storyline and that spider! Lol. Loved the 'Pork Chops and Applesauce' one, where Peter wants a different personality and the 'Exact Words' episode. Like most people, however, I did *not* like their variety show, lol. I watched it the first couple of times, just to see what the kids looked like in 1977, but it destroyed my Brady vision of the family. I wanted them still living on Clinton Ave., darn it! But these days, I can look past that. It's fun to watch it now (the Variety Show), every now and then. It is so refreshing to see that everyone gets along after all these years. I love seeing Barry, Chris, Mike, Maureen, Eve, and Susan on all of the different documentaries and retro shows-how it seems they all really get along. All respect to Sherwood Schwartz and R.I.P. to Sherwood, Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, and Ann B. Davis.❤❤❤
