He ain't lying about the Special Olympics. It is hilarious at times and there is no shame in laughing because it is a natural reaction. You just have to let go and have a good time (and cry a little sometimes). My big sister is wheelchair bound with Cerebral Palsy and has participated in many Special Olympics. I've been a volunteer for over 20 years. I would give my life for any one of the athletes that participate. They are out there having the time of their lives while the crowd cheers for them. It is a beautiful, heart warming, and often very funny event.

As someone Mentioned Eunice Shriver Kennedy founded the Olympics. Mostly because her sister was slow to learn and subsequently had a lobotomy which left her pretty much incapacitated. Also she wanted to try and change people's perspective towards disabled people.

My mother is a special needs teacher and if you’ve ever spent time around autistic or Down’s syndrome individuals (I worded that poorly), you’d understand just how amazing and important the special Olympics are. We forget that a lot of special needs people know when they’re being made fun of or are treated differently. A lot know they have disabilities. Yea it was a risky idea, but it’s a beautiful idea at the same time.

Shane Gillis is one of the funniest comics out right now. A few years ago he got hired for SNL and was fired literally hours later, but it was the best thing that could have happened.
