Have you guys reacted to ''Only You'' by the Platters. Silky smooth lead vocalist and great harmony by the rest of the group and its one of the best love songs ever. Official version from the 1950's. PS- and he doesn't knife anyone LOL

For me, this is the Moody Blues best song …. It just stirs up emotion in the listener. It’s an audio experience. One word to describe it ……. Fantastic!!

From a Aussie with great taste in music lol I suggest 2 AC⚡️DC songs that are a must 1. Riff Raff (official video) it’s a great quality video of them in their prime. 2 Squealer - it has a great bass line, but it’s the Angus solo that’s really special.

The 60s & 70s had the greatest music. The 80s had some good music too, but I was a teenager in the later part of the 60s & a young adult in the 70s & I loved the wide variety of great music, especially in Britain. It was a wonderful time to be young.

Jane H commenting ….. It was actually their song Waterloo, which they won the Eurovision Song Contest with, which sent to sky rocketing into stardom. I actually watched them win, & they were very special, even then. Fernando is a favourite of mine, as its a change from their usual upbeat songs.

Jane H commenting … This looks as if it could be their London concert. A great disco song. ABBA was so Huge all over the world. It was crazy how good they were, with hit after hit.

Jane H commenting …. I loved ABBA. Everyone was dancing to their songs, & most of their songs were big Hits. They did a big concert in London, which was sold out. I was living in the Middle East for part of the 70s, & the Arabs loved them, & I saw their concerts quite a bit on TV when I was there.

Talking about holding a note on a high register? "Woman in Love" is just a warm up. You have to listen to "A Piece Of Sky" from her movie "Yentl". You'll bust, dude.😜

Russia was in total chaos in 1917 . The Czar had just been overthrown in a revolution and civil war was breaking out between the Whites , who supported a return to the monarchy and the Reds , who were communists .Expecting Russia to continue fighting the Germans while this was going on is like expecting a guy whose house is on fire to neglect that and come over to help you fight the fire in your house .

11:00 voyager 1 that took earth pic is your answer, scientists have been using telescopes to study the sky but since 1950s scientists especially Nasa have been sending telescopes and space probes to take millions of pictures and data to study space, the Universe(s) and add that scientific information to our understanding.

Ive watched over 110 reactions to Hi Ren. So what if you laughed. Ren put comedy in it. Im sure he wasnt that serious when he was editing it for 30 hours and was sick of seeing himself. Its an authentic reaction. Im here for it. HOWEVER, your thought of coming back is AWESOME. Rosalie did a one year anniversary reaction as well. So good.

"Modded" is a bit of an understatement. These are manufacturer teams - the cars are built for this. Mostly they have to be based on a production model, the minimum production number is around a thousand IIRC, but still can't be fully custom.

While I never suffered from mental illness, I did have really bad anxiety problems and just like Ren says in the song, it became much easier when I learned to just accept the fact that I have anxiety and the more I fought against it, the worse it got. Once I understood it, the anxiety attacks became less frequent and less intense.

not being ablet o comprehend starts MUCH earlier than the size of the observable universe because very quickly, the human brain just has nothing to relate those scales to anymore. Think about it: do you have any intuitive concept of how fast light moves? You really don't because its far too fast for you to see the actual movement. Now think about that the Sun is about 8 lightminutes from earth. Something as incomprehensibly fast as light, takes 8 whole minutes to travel that distance. The human mind has no way to intuitively grasp that. The only way is by means of abstraction. Mathematically, it's all easy (well to an extend) to calculate. Adnt he way we know about those incredibly distant thinks is simple observation. There is light (however faint) and other waves arriving at earth from all those things and we can observe those. It's the same as if you want to know whats on the other side of the river that you can't cross: you just look. Your eyes don't need to send out a signal to do this, they are simply sensors that pick up the light from whatever is on over there.

Al does more than The Pub Landlord stand up these days. He has done TV shows on modern history. One was done following the route from the Normandy Beaches to Berlin in a WW2 Jeep describing the battles on the way. You would hardly recognise him out of the character of the Pub Landlord. He once stood in a By-Election because there was a Far Right Candidate (Nigel Farage UKiP) standing, he stood just to discredit the other Candidate, he didn't stand to win.

Of course there are other livable planets and very likely some of them have evolved to a technological level equal to or greater than ours. It's highly unlikely that aliens have been traveling the universe for the 30, 40, 50 thousand years it would take for them to reach us.

Scientists are able to look back in time through telescopes and measure the age and size of the universe based upon the amount of time it takes for light to reach Earth.. Pretty much how we know when the big bang occured.

DUDE, you said you studied astronomy? And yet you’re unable to explain how we know about all these galaxies to Sam? Seriously? Telescopes? The Great Array ? The Hubble Telescope in orbit around the earth? Radio waves? Infrared? I’ve never studied astronomy and yet I know of all these techniques they’ve used to study the stars. What were you doing in class? 🙄😏
