As someone that has been in sales for 15 years, this episode was awesome. Always love seeing behind the curtain of an organizations sales team. What's working well, challenges and experiences. Great discussion, Eddie!

I absolutely LOVE these Prodcasts where you allow us listeners an opportunity to hear how production is created. Eddie is a great interviewer and asks the questions I want to know. It's incredible what Barstool was and what Barstool has become Thank you for sharing

Honesty one of my favorite interviews we’ve had in a long time on here. I’m fascinated by the business end of things here and this was a pretty wide open conversation for us. Appreciate this

This guy dramatizing how barstool reads ads. When in reality they read it as fast as possible and give zero personality.

Good work Eddie. But it might make sense to ask why no salesperson has ever asked Kirk questions about his show. Or why they literally didn’t understand the case was a different product than KMS. Lots of tough questions missed

Cool stuff Eddie....always was curious re Barstool's revenue streams obviously advertising but some of the other ancillary bits as well. Would love to see their P&L and what their margins are. Whatever it is it could be higher but Dave is loyal with this staff and admittedly keeps on a lot of non-revenue producing content staff. Should be appreciated by them.

After watching the live College Football Show at Indiana yesterday (in which he spoke about how many big ads they were able to sell for that show) - I'm curious what the line is for having too many ads on one show, for which it begins to take away from the actual content/product of the show (and why viewers ultimately tune in - or tune out in the end). For the last couple live College Football shows, it's pretty apparent they are strictly going to these places and doing the 30-minute-in-total show solely due to them selling the ads and providing to the companies what they sold to them for advertising with Barstool. It feels like 95% of that particular show is now just them reading ads - and they fly through the rest of the show, solely just to hit the ads and do all the ad reads. It's reached the point of where ads have taken over the show, and thus the product (the actual show) has diminished extremely - for which I would guess many people will stop watching, as the show is just one huge ad read for 25 different companies. Also, the other companies can't like being squished in with all the other companies - in which ads are stepping on each and not getting the full shine they probably wanted/paid for. I understand the need to sell tons of ads - but it's gotten to a point (and it's not just the College Football Show - it's many - if not all - Barstool shows that have become overloaded with ads) where people will stop watching the shows. I've just been wondering that - I assume that's a discussion point but it seems like this threshold line of having way too many ads on shows has been crossed.

I agree with college football show part. This show feels just so lifeless and "corporate" due to all these ads, that there is no reason to watch.
