WWE and AEW would be crazy not to steal this guy from barstool. I enjoy his comedic style and knowledge of wrestling. These are some of the most entertaining interviews. Thank you
@muhammadHassan-kj1jy2 жыл бұрын
But then how will he talk to wrestlers from both companies? He shouls stay independent from wrestling companies
@stevenL4U2 жыл бұрын
While i agree with you about how good he is, it wouldn’t be the same if he worked for those companies. It works this way because he is at barstool. What would he even do in Aew? Lol. He’d do 10 second interviews that would be interrupted quickly.
@pmcfad002 жыл бұрын
@@stevenL4U my thought was he would be a great host for wwe network specials or interviews. I view him as a better version of Sam Roberts. He would be good in like talking smack, pre shows to pay per views, etc.. not enough entertaining people in that role minus pat mcafee and one or two others

It's great to see Regal relishing his role in AEW & seemingly quite happy with life now - I saw him several times as a 12 year old kid on holiday (vacation) in Blackpool in 1984. He was 16 (I didn't know that at the time I thought/assumed he was older) & wrestling at a carny wrestling attraction with an open challenge to the public with prize money, with brave holiday makers trying their luck, to last in the ring with Regal long enough to earn the prize money, none of them did - it's cool to of seen him at the very start of his wrestling career & he's still writing his story in wrestling history & bringing me joy 38 years later

I’ve always thought that if you have a greatly dry sense of humour but love hard-nose, bone-grinding wrestling technique, Steve Regal is your final stop. I’m a Lord Robert Eaton guy so I fell in love with The Bluebloods and followed Regal’s career forwards and backward. I’m so pleased he’s getting this rebirth as the no-nonsense Headmaster of Violence. A Man’s Man, indeed. 🤙🏼

Regal was always super underrated given the time but in today's wrestling he could thrive with just speaking alone. Then you got to take into account how incredible he was in the ring but I think back then he never got as over as he should of is because it was a common trope for the foreigner to berate America. Back then this country was more patriotic so it worked very well for heat but in today's age, even as a heel, he would be cheered. Regal has always been a genius and although he's past his prime I say it's better late than never to hand this man his flowers for all he's done for wrestling. Long live Lord Regal 👑
