To the non-tennis people watching this: the only reason he "got his racket on it" is because for those serves, the pros were intentionally hitting it right to him to give him a chance. They could easily ace him to either side with just 100MPH serves because he's standing in the wrong spot by several feet, and he doesn't do a split-step or move properly to actually be able to touch a serve at all (this is why Coco Gauff was laughing at him but trying to be nice about it). Also these serves were 80% speed at best - the pros aren't going to hurt their shoulders after a tournament practice just for this guy's video. If they actually hit 130+ at him, he'd get seriously hurt because he doesn't hold the racket or swing the right way

Ex-tennis pro here although I was more of a teaching pro with poor results when I played guys with ATP points who were, for instance, top 1000 in the world. Jeff Cohn is absolutely correct. In fact, I do not find the guy, Marty, to be particularly athletic at all. A top athlete --- say an NBA or MLB or NFL WR/CB --- would likely quickly realize that swinging is futile and begin experimenting with some sort of split-step or guess and block technique. Marty looked like he was swatting flies that were three feet behind him. Some instruction from a tennis pro might have been helpful and increase his chances but one has to also listen to the instruction and then execute what is being told.

@@dabdanielpro7739 True. Especially with multiple attempts at 110mph (at most) serves for which many were aimed more or less at him. With money on the line, all of the pros would have sliced him out wide until he finally adjusted and then just served to his backhand where his poor grip would struggle to enable him to put strings on the ball.
