I remember when Jenks first came on the Yak he felt like a rich dude paying for air time and more of a businessman type, I seriously doubt he quit his job to maybe see if big cat will ask dave or erika what they could do with him. So he was either indepdendently wealthy in another way and lied about the job, conned his way on the show by taking guys to games with tickets he paid for (were these just tickets he was buying on the fly or did he have season tickets?) whole thing just seems, odd. and he'd not terribly likeable to begin with, so I'm a little confused.
