This lively Divertimento was commissioned by Paul Sacher (1906-1999), the founder and conductor of Basel Chamber Orchestra.

Which instrument were you on? I've always wanted to perform with an orchestra, or some kind of instrumental ensemble that isn't a band, but I play piano so there's not really any way to do that
