The same man who commissioned the Music for String, Percussion, and Celesta, a few years prior to this. He really got the most out of his commissions, it seems.

Which instrument were you on? I've always wanted to perform with an orchestra, or some kind of instrumental ensemble that isn't a band, but I play piano so there's not really any way to do that
