HAHA, yeah. I'd been meaning to post a new one for the longest time, and this was the video I had the hardest time getting. I wanted to originally shoot it on a weekday morning, but I figured it'd be easier on the weekend, since there's less people. Glad you enjoy. =)

San Francisco must be tiny. NYC subways are on the average the same length as any of the BART lines.

In addition to the bay area having less people, San Francisco is only 49 square miles. It'd be as if NYC was only Manhattan.

That would explain how BART can serve 4, 5 cities while the average length of a line not being much longer than a NYC subway line

Shawn Ryu Most BART is actually not in San Francisco. It's mostly built around getting people from the suburbs into SF and the service pattern is more like the Metro North Railroad than the NYC subway.

BART is such a waste of engineering. No San Jose, no real East Bay service outside of the bay coastline, except for Dublin and Pleasanton. Did not even figure KSFO or San Jose would be major issues at all. Get my point?

martin theiss There are trains to KSFO and KOAK, and service to Santa Clara through San Jose is expected by 2026.
